Echo, had been laying down when more horrible thoughts hit her. What if the people back in California would never be saved? What if they were dying? Oh god she thought. Andy could feel her heart beat increasing. Each thought another trigger to a faster beat.
Andy, wanted her, not in a sexual way he wanted to rip his pearly white fangs into her neck. Rip the flesh off her throat and drain her rich blood. She smelled so sweet like lollipops and vanilla. Yet here he was holding her shoulders while her head rested in his lap. So strange, strange he hadn't killed her yet. . .
There was something about the girl, something that made him bat shit insane. Something that drove him, drove him further into oblivion...

What kind of example would that set for Melody? Too get drunk every time something bad happens? In this world with all that things that happen? You surely become an alcoholic. So he'd suck it up and keep on living like a god dam outlaw.
