Kenzie's POV : I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock I opened my eyes and I was not ready to start school I slowly got out of bed and head to the bathroom I took a shower washed my face and brushed my teeth I looked at the clock and it was 6:30 AM I Had thirty more minutes so I decided to straighten my hair I went to my closet and picked out my black and white romper I put light makeup then I texted my best friend Lauren

Lauren's POV : I woke up very excited for the first day of school idk why but I felt excited i quickly showered I already have my hair fine so I just pulled it up into a bun I wore leggings and a sweater that says flawless I put natural makeup on and I got a text from Kenzie saying if I was ready I said yes and head downstairs I heard the knock on my door I was happy to see Kenzie Evan tho we spent every day together and I saw her yesterday I quickly had a smile on my face I opened my door and that smile became a frown I saw Nadia johnnys annoying girlfriend I rolled my eyes and told her johnny was already at school I lied I just don't like her so I said that I made my way to Kenzie's house witch was across the street Nadia was still walking out then johnny opened the door I made a run for it because Nadia saw him I made it to Kenzie's house and knocked on the door exactly 6:50 Maddie opened the door and told me to come In i sat on the couch waiting for her
Kenzie's POV: I heard the knock on the door I looked out from my window and saw Lauren and Maddie talking and that smile became a frown I saw johnny and Nadia holding hands walking together I rolled my eyes I went downstairs to see Lauren waiting for me
L: what took you so long
K:oh umm I was wearing my shoes
L: ok......well let's go I guess
K: k bye Maddie bye mom I yelled loud enough for them to hear from the kitchen
They said bye and we got out from my house I shut the door and took a deep breath and told Lauren
K: let's do this I grabbed her hand and walked to her house we took her car (remember they are 16). We got to school I haven't seen Hayden all summer because he went to camp why I'm dating him when I don't like him I do actually but it's just that I like johnny more I was the popular girl well me and Lauren and lexi drew and Lexi jade so people greet us see we're popular but we're nice when I was the new girl at school Nadia was the popular kid and so was johnny but everyone liked me more so now no one really knows her she's known as Lauren's brothers girlfriend johnny is still kinda popular he's in Hayden's scuad
Lauren's POV: me And Kenzie enter the school every one greets us Nadia and johnny just look at us but today johnny was staring at Kenzie idk why but i don't care me and Kenzie made our way to our group we talked a big till hayden showed up but just then the bell rang and me and kenz had all our periods together so we were excited we went as usual it was boring until the new student came in his name was Brandon Rowland he was kinda cute the whole time he was staring at Kenzie she felt uncomfortable
Skip to lunch
Kenzie's POV: it was lunch Time so me Lauren and Lexi and The other Lexi made our way to the cool kids table Hayden was in it and johnny and Carson. Nadia was not allowed in the table because only me and Lauren add the people and we don't like Nadia so we don't add her sometimes johnny goes and sits next to her. today I was thinking of breaking up with Hayden because I lost feelings for him so I was going to do it in our free period

H: yea sure
K: Hayden I don't think we're working out
H:...... so you wanna break up
K: I'm sorry but yea
H: ok
K:....so your not mad......?!?!
H: no I mean I lost feelings for you to
K: ok bye. As I turn around Hayden called my name
H: wait KENZIE
K: yes
H: let's promise that it won't be weird around us so friends
K: friends. I give him a friendly smile and walked away I made my way to Lauren until I was stopped from Nadia
