Chapter 2: back off

Kenzie's POV:
K: what do you want Nadia. I said while looking straight at her eyes
N: I don't want you to go to my boyfriends house anymore ....thanks bye. She said while doing a sassy hair flip I rolled my eyes
K: are you that stupid I don't go to your boyfriends house for him I go for his sister aka my best friend I said that loud enough so the whole school is now looking at us I can feel that Nadia was extremely annoyed she just walked off The whole school laughed I kinda felt bad but . She definitely deserved it I made my way to Lauren that was cracking up I giggled and smacked her arm playfully I could see from the corner of my eye johnny glaring at me i just ignored him.
Skip to lunch
Still Kenzie's POV:
Finally lunch came that means we have gym last class I made my way to lunch I saw Lauren waiting for me with the biggest smile on her face I raise an eyebrow up and walked over to her I sat down
L: GUESS WHAT
K: what .......?
L: "jadia" just broke up.
K: cool
L: .....
luaren raised an eyebrow crossed her arms together
L: ummmm don't you like johnny and besides we hate Nadia and they broke up I know your happy in the inside

Lauren giggled while saying the last part I mean I gotta admit I was kinda happy actually i was so happy but i didn't wanna look like that I didn't know what to say so I kept quiet while her still raising an eyebrow at me I giggled in the inside because of her facial expression
L: Kenzie why aren't you saying anything

I looked at her hoping she forgot she said that but lucky me ruby came (Rubyrose aka Nadia's sister).

R: hey kenz hey Lauren. Ruby said that with a sad face I hope it wasn't about Nadia and johnnys break up.
L: hey Ruby
K: hey why do you look sad. I regret saying that
R: well......Nadia is really sad and I'm sad for her
L: but isn't she the one that broke up with johnny....?

Flashback to the break up

JOHNNYs pov: I was heading to lunch until I heard sobbing in the girls bathroom I went a little closer until I realized it was nadia I went in and I saw her crying I told her what wrong but she wasn't replying I kept saying what's wrong until she spoke
N: Johnny I want to break up While wiping her tears away and I actually felt nothing I gotta admit I lost feelings for her along time ago but I didn't want to break her heart because she hasn't done anything to me
J:why .....?
N: johnny I know you don't like me anymore
J:wait how
N:Johnny I know I've seen the way you look at Kenzie and I don't want to stop you guys from dating
J: .....then why are you crying
N: that's non of your concern so you can go now. I stared at her for a moment and then I got out she wasn't crying anymore so I left I ran into Lauren and she said why I was in the girls bathroom I explained everything and she looked happy I know why it's because she hates Nadia.

Kenzie's POV: I didn't understand because why would Nadia break up with johnny if she still had feelings

Kenzie's POV: Me and Lauren are in the car on Our way to our houses
L: hey kenz let's have a sleepover at my place
K: ummmm..... yea sure I'll text my mom to see if she agrees
L: ok
If your your wondering about my clothes I have a toothbrush towel and clothes at the Orlandos same as Lauren she had a lot of stuff at my place

Time skips to there house

Lauren's POV: we got to my place and enter my house

K: hey 2 mom Kenzie called my mom her second because they are really close and they have a mother and daughter relationship johnny was sitting at the couch and rolled his eyes I saw kenz and she was about to tear up but I told her let's go to my room she just nodded and we head upstairs. 10 minutes later johnny comes in and sits on my chair

J: what's up Mack z

I forgot to mention my brother bullies Kenzie that's why Kenzie is having a hard time and I understand because the guy she's I love with bullies her she's been trying to forget about him but it's not working

K: don't call me Mack z again Kenzie said with a pissed voice
J: ok chill. Johnny said while getting up he told me he's going to invite Hayden and Carson over me and kenz nodded and he left I started blushing hard core when johnny said Hayden I really like Hayden and I was going to tell Kenzie today

Kenzie's POV: Me and Lauren were hanging out in her room until johnny came in he sat on Lauren's chair and told me "what's up Mack z" I loved it when he calls me Mack z but I made a pissed look on my face and told him "don't call me Mack z again" he told me to chill and as he was heading out he said he was going to invite Hayden and Carson I looked at Lauren and her. Cheeks were pink I raised an eyebrow as johnny went I giggled
L: what's so funny....?
K: who is it I said while a smirk appears on my face but I could tell she was getting nervous I crossed my arms around each other waiting for her reply
L: Hayden Lauren mumbles I giggled because she thought I was going to be mad because he's my ex

Lauren's POV: me and kenz talked The Whole time until we heard the door bell we both went down stairs to see Johnny talking to Hayden and Carson. And as soon as Carson saw me he started blushing I wonder why......? Hayden didn't really care he just said hi to us and we did the same then we all sat down to talk and Carson told Hayden

I felt horrible knowing my crush didn't feel the same way as I felt towards him I rolled my eyes and Kenzie noticed she told me to head up stairs with her I just nod we head upstairs and I kept silent she did to she said If I wanna watch a movie with her I said ok we watched a movie called "story of pi". And it was sooo good me and kenz ended up snuggling while crying of how sad the movie was then later on we fell asleep

Skip to the morning
Kenzie's POV: I woke up and woke Lauren up to I went to the guest room bathroom to get ready while. She was taking a shower in her room I got in the shower washed my hair got out I dried myself I washed my face then put on a tank top with a random jacket half zipped up with my ripped jeans I left my hair natural witch was wavy I just brushed it I put light makeup and head down stairs to find johnny eating
K: weres your mom....?
J: my mom and dad went to New York with Maddie (Orlando) for 2 days
K:ummmm ok we're darian
J: she went on vacation with her boyfriend for a week
K:so it's only us three for today
J: yes now leave me alone child

Johnny walked away with his plate i rolled my eyes . I just don't know what I did to him i started tearing up I slowly went into the kitchen yes johnny was eating in the living room I made waffles for me and Lauren I just. L: now would you like to tell me why my best friend looks sad Lauren said with a frown on her face I forced a giggle and told her nothing was wrong then we heard screaming from johnnys room..........
