Emily's POV
I woke up the next morning to see that my clock said 10:00 am. I got off my butt to head to starbucks. I was wearing black leggings with a thrasher shirt and a red flannel tied around my waist with my white high top converse. I put on some mascara. Then I put on my glasses because I was too lazy to put my contacts in. I got my car keys and headed to starbucks.
I ordered a midnight mint mocha (that's literally the only starbucks drink I have ever had throughout my life haha) and I decided to just chill at starbucks for a while and drink my coffee.
The bell above the starbucks door rang signaling someone has entered the shop. It was a guy who looked about 19 he had blondish Brown hair, dark eye brows, blue eyes, and he was extremely tall.
He saw me and winked then told the register guy his order. I looked at my phone to see I got a message from Brooklynn.
Brook 😙: hey b if you're up to go swimming today with me, my cousin and his friends at the beach then be ready by 1:30
Me: okaiii :)
I looked Up from my phone to see that the tall guy was heading over by me with a smile on his face.
"May I have a seat?" he asked. "Um sure I guess"
He sat across from me. He was actually kinda hot.
"What's your name?" he asked me still having that smile on his face. "I'm Emily, you are?" I questioned. "I'm Devin, nice to meet you Emily." "So Emily, you from here?" " uh I moved here like a year ago haha" I chuckled. "Oh because I was gonna say that I haven't ever seen you around. I'm sure I would've remembered seeing your face." Devin winked at me. (Just saying Devin is gonna be single in this) I slightly blushed. But not as badly as I do with Drew. Wtf emily?! Im with some guy you just met and I'm still thinking about drew. Ugh. Drew can't leave my mind.
"So you doin anything later?" Devin asked. "Uh yeah I'm going to the beach with some friends."
"That's a coincidence because so was I !" he shouted a little. "I was going with my friend chance and whoever he said was going with but I don't remember who he said was going ." Devin said. Chance? "Chance Perez? That Chance?" "uh yeah how'd you know?" Devin asked. "Because that's who I was going with too!" I laughed. " wow then I'll definitely see you later then" Devin winked. Agh him and his winking. "Can I have your number?" Devin asked. "Sure I don't see why not" I responded. We exchanged numbers. Devin said "I'll see you later emily !" "bye Devin!"
