The Cuts That Tell A Story.

They worry.

We sat there until 10 pm talking. We had to go home. I get up. "Well. I've gotta get home." Garroth and Laurence bounce up. "I'll walk you home!" Garroth says. Laurence glares at him. "I'll walk you home too!" Laurence quickly says. "Ok! I live this way." We all walk to my house. I get to my door. "Well, thank you guys for walking me home!" My front door opens. I see it's Lilly. Oh no... She drags me in forcefully but forgets to close the door. "Stay away from them! Garroth is Ivy's man!" She slaps he hard. They guys see and they get angry and upset. Lilly sees them and slams the door in their face. "Garroth. Did her sister just hit her across the face?" They stand there. "Yes.." They hide around in the bush in the front yard. They hear my mom say this, "Lilly is right! You are a nobody and you'll never be anyone! You don't deserve their attention!" Garroth and Laurence look at each other with their hearts broken. They hear my door open and they see me getting thrown out of the door. My mom yells, "You're sleeping outside for now!" She slams the door and locks it. I Lay on my sidewalk curled up and I cry. They see me and they get up and run over. "Omi! Ruby!" Garroth says worried. Laurence sees Lilly in the window watching. Laurence looks angry. Lilly comes running down to the front door. "Hey Laurence." She says seductive. Laurence replies angrily. "Hi. What do you want?" She walks over to him and wraps her leg around him. "Why are you helping her?" She says in his ear. He pushes her off. "Because she's nice and not a dingus like you." Lilly is surprised. "Wait. You care for this mistake in life?!" Garroth is helping me. Laurence yells at Lilly, "She isn't a mistake! Beating her up is one! If anything!" He pauses for a moment "You're the mistake!" He walks over to me. Lilly walks inside and slams the door and locks it again. Garroth says to me. "You can stay with me tonight." Laurence glares at Garroth. "But, what about your brother and parents." I say. "Oh, they're out at a camping trip. Mom and dad forced them to go." I get up and Garroth helps me up. "Hey. Maybe we can have a sleepover!" Laurence says. "At Garroth's place!"  Garroth glares at Laurence again. "Sounds great." I say still in pain. We walk to Garroth's house. They are helping me. We go to the backyard and set up sleeping bags. "I'll be right back. Also, can I use your bathroom?" He says nicely. "Oh course!" I walk upstairs to their bathroom. I change into my P.Js. I come back outside and Garroth got a fire going so that it's like we are on a camping trip. I giggle. I sit down on my sleeping bag. 

*2 hours pass*

 It's now midnight. I fall asleep. The boys fall asleep a little after. I wake up at 3am. I get up to go use the bathroom. I use it. I go to wash my hands. I roll up my sleeves. I look at my cuts. The sadness and trauma all come rushing in again and I start uncontrollably sobbing. "I wanna stop this.. I can't..." I put my head on my hands, speaking to myself. Garroth wakes up and comes inside quick he notices me crying. He comes in. "Are you ok?" Laurence wakes up and sees that me and Garroth aren't there, He goes inside. He sees me crying and he makes his way over. He comes up. "What's wrong?" They see my arms are covered in cuts. Their eyes widen and they look worried and scared. "Who did that to you?"
"I-I did.." Garroth comes and hugs me. I hug him back. Laurence hugs me too. Garroth picks me up and carries me to the sleeping bags. Laurence is jealous but pushes it away. He sits me down on my sleeping bag. I lay down on my side. "Why do you cut yourself?" Laurence says. I sit up. "Because, my pain and I only have some people who care.. If I'm treated like they way my mom and sister treat me then, I might as well cut until I cut the wrong place..I don't want anyone's pity..I want to be loved and for all of this to stop.." Laurence moves his sleeping bag next to mine. I fall asleep. I wake up and I feel an arm around me. I see it's Laurence's arm. I blush. Garroth wakes up and sees his arm around me and he says loudly so that Laurence would wake up, "Ok, so! Let's go get some breakfast!" He smiles. Laurence wakes up and gets up. He walks over to Garroth. Whispers to him. "Jealous?" and walks inside. I stand up. Garroth follows Laurence in. They fight again. I go to the kitchen and make an omelet. I set their pieces on their plates and put it on the table. "Breakfast is ready." They stop fighting and come to sit. "Thank you Ruby!" Garroth says. Laurence then says, "It's delicious!" Garroth then says, "It's amazing!" We eat up then I wash the dishes and Garroth dries while Laurence goes and takes a shower. Garroth turns on the radio and we dance and sing  Viva la Vida by Coldplay. I splash Garroth a bit with the water. We laugh. We have a water war. Some of the water got on the ground. I slip. Garroth catches me. We blush. We lean in, then...
