The Cuts That Tell A Story.

My own Dog

I walk past an Ally way. I see a homeless dog. She's a pug. She's only 4 weeks old. She's hungry. I take her home. I bathe her and give her food and water. I quickly go to the store and buy her some toys, a bed and some treats. On my way home I realized that I need to name her. I get home and I set up her bed with a blanket and put her toys down and I go up to her and pet her. "Hmmm. I think I'll name you... Sarah." She barks in joy. I set her on my lap and I pet her. She falls asleep and I do too. I wake up. I remember, it's Saturday. I don't have to go to school. Garroth and Laurence go over to my old house and knock. My mom answers, "Hi. Whatcha need?" She says. "Uhh.. Is Ruby here?" Garroth asks. "No. I saw that she packed up her things. I don't know where she went but I don't care, either." Garroth and Laurence glare at her and leave. I go to the blossom tree where I met Travis, Zane and Laurence. I sit there petting Sarah. Garroth and Laurence go get Travis. They head to the blossom tree. They notice me. They walk over. "Hey Ruby. Where did you move too?" Garroth asks while sitting down next to me. "An apartment. I couldn't live with them..." Laurence sits next to me and Travis sits in front of me. "I don't blame you." Laurence says. I notice Aphmau and Casey walking up the path. "Hey. Where did you get that dog?" Travis says while petting her. "Oh. I found her in an alleyway. I named her Sarah." Sarah barks and she jumps out of my arms and runs towards Aphmau and Casey. Aphmau pets her and Casey wonders where she came from. Aphmau carries her over to me and I hold her. "Cute dog! Where did you get her?" Casey walks over. "I found her in an alleyway." Casey and Aphmau sit down. Garroth, Laurence, Casey, Aphmau, Travis and I talk for hours. I feel like a person for once. I'm smiling and petting Sarah. Garroth and Laurence are leaning against the tree. So am I. It gets dark. I stand up. "Where are you going?" Aphmau asks. "Oh. Sarah and I need to go home." Garroth, Laurence and Travis BOUNCE up. "I'LL WALK YOU HOME!" Laurence says quickly. Garroth and Travis also say, "I WILL TOO!" They all glare at each other and I look down at Casey and Aphmau. We giggle. "Why don't all of you guys come over and we have a sleepover?" Casey and Aphmau stand up. "I wish I could but. I have to study for a math test." Casey says. "I can't have a sleepover with boys. My mom hates boys." Aphmau says. "It's ok, guys! What about you 3?" Garroth, Travis and Laurence say, "SURE!" Aphmau and Casey head home and I wave bye at them. Garroth, Laurence, Travis, Sarah and I go home.
