"Um, Carly," I call her over to me. "A boyfriend isn't exactly like a daddy. Daddy's are what boyfriends become after marriage and kids, and all that stuff. Do you understand?"

Her head tilts to the left as she thinks over my words before nodding.

"So Raven's going to be his daddy, but just not yet."

"No sweetie," I stop to hold in the laughter that's building up as my eyes drift to Corey. His eyes are as wide as possible with his blush extending down to his neck. The rest of the room is holding back their laughter just to see what kind of explanation I can come up with. "Um...Raven, would only be considered a daddy if they had kids, Munchkin. And only their kids would call him daddy."

"Not likely," Brandon chuckles under his breath.

I roll my eyes as I focus my attention back on Carly. She's so confused it's adorable.

"I don't get it," she frowns, shaking her head.

"Ok, look. Remember how we were talking about dates earlier?"

"Yeah."

"Ok, so, after you go on a bunch of dates with someone, they might ask you to be committed to just them, which means, no dates with other people. And the way people define, and categorize this type of relationship, is usually by labeling the other person their boyfriend or girlfriend. Are you following me here?"

"I think so," she says as her nose scrunches up. "But then where do daddy's come in?"

"Wow, bet you didn't think you'd be having this conversation with them so soon." The mystery guy comments, drawing my eyes over to him.

His mocha skin blends well with the lightness of the girl on his arm. His dark brown eyes shine with laughter at us, a small smile on his bow shaped lips. His hair is cut short, close to his head, with waves flowing through it. He's about a head taller than the girl he's standing next to, making him a little taller than Marc. The girl standing next to him has a pleasant heart shaped face, with blue eyes and dirty blonde hair that hangs in short waves to her shoulders.

"I didn't want to have this conversation with them ever," I tell him light heartedly. "But back to you two," I say, refocusing on the twins. "So we understand boyfriends and girlfriends, right?" At their nods, I continue. "Ok, so, when these people have been in a relationship for a while, and know that they don't ever want to be without that person, they may ask them to marry them. Then there's this whole big ceremony done called a wedding where they pledge their love and commitment to each other in front of all of their friends, and God, if they're religious. And then those labels change from boyfriend, and girlfriend, to husband and wife. And then, if they ever have kids, their kids will call them Mommy and Daddy. Do you get it?"

"So they don't have kids," Riley comments.

"I'm pretty sure they don't hun." I tell him.

"And they're not married? Are you married? Is Raven your husband, Corey?" Carly questions.

"No," Corey chokes out. I don't think his face can get any redder. "No, he's uh, he's just my boyfriend."

"Oh," Carly nods. "Ok. I think I get it now."

"Great," I sigh in relief before turning to the two people I haven't been introduced to. "So, I'm Sang, and these are my siblings, Carly and Riley."

"Nice to meet you," the guy says. "I'm Kevin, and this is my fiancé Mindy."

"Hi," Mindy smiles. "Nice to meet you, and nice job explaining that. How old are they?"

"Eight." I tell her.
