Everyone will tell you that editing is a crucial part of writing, and to some of you this may not seem like a huge deal. But trust me when I say this: editing is vital.
For a book to flow well, the grammar and spelling has to be accurate and correct. A mistype, or a grammatical error can throw a reader off and ruin the natural rhythm of the story.
I find reading my work out loud helps me to pick up any mistakes within the text, or you could make someone else read it before you publish it. Try to pick out mistakes which you make often to help improve your writing and learn from them.
There are lots of online guides to help you with grammar and spelling if you are not 100% confident in your ability to write grammatically accurate sentences.
Editing is one thing you cannot miss out as a writer.
