Braedon POV.

I thought he was going to attack me, but he put his sword away and shook my hand after quickly studying me.

He let go rather quickly and all of a sudden fell to his knees holding his head in his hands. Then passed out most likely from pain, as I was yelling for help.

I jumped onto his balcony, picked him up and quickly leaped back over to mine. I bounded into the hall. "Donavan!" I yelled down the stairs.

A moment later Donavan came up the stairs but stopped short when he saw Ash with black and orange flame-like shadows covering him.

"Hurry!" Was all I said before going into my room and setting Ash on my bed. With Donavan following warily. "Help him." I mumbled before going out and closing the door.

Ash's POV.

I awoke to more shouts as I groggily noticed I was on a bed that was on fire. I had a crazy assumption that I was responsible for that so I acted on instinct and held my hands out, while mentally calling the black and orange flames back into me. I watched as it flowed into my hands and out of sight.

After doing this it was hard to breathe so I calmed my breathing and observed my surroundings I noticed Braedon and two other men near the door, and that i wasn't in my room. I also noticed that the balcony door was open so I leaped out of bed and bounded out the balcony door and jumped onto my balcony. I slammed the door after going inside, and I somehow I made a force field of my special fire around me.

Then Braedon and his knights (I came to figure out.) burst through the door. But when they saw me they all halted and froze with shock and fear written clearly on their faces.

I had the sudden urge to run. So that is what I did; I grabbed my saddle bag and ran. I had thought my saddle bag would have gone up in flames, but when I touched it, it was fine.

(Since my force field was up,) I ran straight past the guards and straight down the stairs into the main room. As soon as they saw me every knight drew their swords and stood up, while everyone else ran screaming to their rooms.

I wasted no time and ran to the stables. I knew I would scare the horses so I willed the force field to go down and it did. I managed to find Moonsage rather quickly. Soon my saddle was on and I strapped my saddle bag down as I loped through the dark streets, deep in thought of what to do next.

Braedon's POV.

I watched as he rode down the streets and into the woods. I screamed and kicked a table, resulting in a yelp of pain and a bruised toe.

"Tell everyone to start packing, we're heading out early tommorow." I said to Leo my second in command.

"Yes sir." was his reply. I gave a nod signaling he could go, so he stalked off.

'I will find you Ash. I will find you.' I thought over and over.
