Knockout x Human!reader

Time to wake up!

Question of the chapter: Out of prime, which character do you hate the most? (My answer: Any of the humans except for maybe Jack. I find them all obnoxious xD but they're necessary for the show and add a great amount of stuff to it, so I wouldn't want them gone.)

You

A loud, obnoxious beeping sound ripped through your dreams, dragging you out of your sleeping state. You groaned in frustration, reaching over to your nightstand to lift your phone up; the source of the awful noise. Someone was calling you.

The phone said 'Knockout,' and you sighed loudly as you noticed the time was 6:23am.

It's way too early for this, You thought irritably, clicking the volume button to silence your phone. I'll sleep for a bit, and call him back.

Knockout, the decepticon medic, had met you a long while ago at a race. You hadn't been racing yourself, no; you'd been there to watch, and you'd been invited by a friend. Knockout had confronted you, inviting you for a ride, only to shock you when you realized that the car had no driver. Somehow, though, you'd been convinced to get in the passenger seat anyways. And, well, it just escalated from there.

You lived with your mom, in a small but comfortable house. Of course, your mother didn't know about Knockout whatsoever; though the decepticon had a holoform (a human form) you doubted your mom would be very happy if you brought a guy home, since she was very protective.

Normally you'd walk somewhere and meet Knockout, and hang out with him for a while. And, normally, you'd answer his phone calls. Though, normally you didn't get phone calls from him this early in the morning.

The phone began to ring again, and you picked the screen up, just to realize that it was Knockout calling again. You groaned, still not wanting to pick up. You hit the volume button again, putting the phone completely on silent, before placing the phone face down on the table. You'd just have to call him back.

Knockout

"Why Isn't she answering?" A furious growl, laced with a hint of worry, came from the decepticon medic as he attempted to dial you through his comm link, each time failing as it went to voicemail. "She always answers me!"

"Maybe she's just as tired as everyone else of hearing you complain about your paint job," Knockout turned to glare at Breakdown as his assistant commented, an amused edge to his voice.

"I'll have you know, I have a right to complain." The cherry-red doctor huffed, placing his servos on his hips. "I work very hard to maintain such a good look."

"I'm kidding." Breakdown chuckled, looking up from some sort of experiment he was working on. "Maybe she's sleeping, it is quite early, according to human standards."

"It's 6:30." Knockout said, his tone shocked. "I'm amazed humans sleep in that late! She's normally awake by now, preparing for school."

"You sound worried," Breakdown mused, his good eye glittering with obvious amusement. "Why all the fuss over a human? Do you like her?"

"I- Why would-" Knockout sputtered for a moment, his red optics widening. "I like her, she's interesting for a human! But not like..." He hesitated. "Not like that." Was that true, though? No, it wasn't. He liked her, like that and he knew it.
