There was a quiet tapping on the kingdom's crystal clear marvel floors, as boots walking over them at a fast yet casual pace. A man dressed in a long black coat open to expose his tight leather pants and vest with a single red rose in his pocket. His dark hair was combed slick back and curled at the end. Eyes were a dark maroon color, the color of a sorcerer gone bad.

Guards dressed in shiny silver armor walked at his sides to make sure he tried nothing funny. They walked him over to the main room where the king and queen sat on their thrones. The main guard, Hayfen, clapped his hands ordering the other guards to open the doors. They obeyed with the bow of their head and pulled the big brown wooden doors open. The sorcerer grinned and stepped inside.

"You have two minutes" said Hayfen in a low warning voice.

"Two minutes? I just about only need one" the man smirked. Hayfen grumbled something under his breath and stepped outside ordering the guards to shut the doors.

The doors gave off a loud creek and thud as they shut, the man then turned to the royals kneeling before them, then walked forward.

"That is far enough" said the king, pointing his staff at the man's feet.

"As you wish your majesty" he smiled and bowed his head.

"What have you come here for magic man, can you not see that my queen and I want no performers around at this moment?" The king said with an icy tone.

"Forgive me my king, but I have not come to perform for you or your queen, allow me to introduce myself" the man began, stripping from his coat and tossing it over to one of the guards, "I am Vincent, the king of all magic and magical beings, well not yet of course, but with a little help from you I believe we can accomplish that." he clasped his gloved hands together widening his smile to make him seem more likeable.

"And why would I help you?" the king asked, feeling a little angry that such a being as Vincent would dare disturb him and his queen in such a time of sadness.

"Perhaps he has something to offer dear" said the queen, placing a hand over her husband's.

"I am glad you have mentioned so your highness, you see I do have something to offer" Vincent smirked as he walked closer to the king. The guards got ready to defend the king and queen, but the king held out his hand for them to stop and waved them off.

"Go on" he said, keeping a stern look.

"You see my king, I know something from my spies that you don't and that something has to do with your son, who happens to be the prince, you know the guy who is to take over your throne" he chuckled.

"Yes, yes I know who my own son is you fool! Now get on with it!" the king grew frustrated with the man's smugness.

"Now, now dear, lets not be rude, let the man speak" the queen patted her husband's arm then nodded to Vincent, "you may proceed."

"Thank you madam" he bowed, "now like I said I know something about your son that you will be ever so pleased to hear, and I will tell you but that is only if you help me become the king of my people" he said as he hopped up the tiny step to the thrones.

"Will my son come back to me unharmed?" The king narrowed his eyes.

"But of course my king!"

"And all you want is to be a king?"

"Well, you see there is something else.." Vincent twiddled his thumbs.

"And what is that dear?" asked the queen.

"I want more than just that, I want a boy, not only is he the most gorgeous of all the living creatures, but he holds a powerful magic within him. If I have him dead or preferably married to me, then that means I have a better chance of gaining his power, thus making me the most powerful sorcerer who ever lived" Vincent said with a grin.
