•No ones POV•

It's been a while since you awoke here. You've gotten used to the intense sounds and title you have. You've met someone, he helped you with getting started and all. His name was Xander and he was someone who protected the whole universe and kept in under watch. There were many gods and goddesses. You were one of them but very important. You were Life witch meant protecting the universe from evil threats and even planets you had never heard of. You haven't met any god of Death and destruction yet but Xander said keep your guard up if you feel bad vibes so he left you with that to continue his "job".

Getting back to where you left off. It's been a long time up here. only from estimating though. You don't have time up here. You've filled up you Book since then, With Monsters and Humans. And since you had much more space left you that made alternations to the original.

You made someone...
A monster specifically and you named him Ink. He looks after AU's, so you gave him your paintbrush. After that your staff could no longer turn into a paintbrush but you didn't quite mind. You wanted help with your job so that's why he's here. You mostly looked after the Original AU. The catch was he didn't know you existed. Besides Ink, there were others like him who had more authority and magic. Error was one. He was like the destroyer and Inks enemy. Nightmare and Dream were brothers and were also Nightmares. The twins, one loved and appreciated, the other hated and unexpected, y' know, the original story line of all fairytales. There was Fresh too. He also helped Ink with keeping people in check.

Besides all that there was Frisk. "The main character".
She was a child around the age of 8. She has the power to reset and save. You never changed it no matter how many times she reset and scene the skeleton suffer. Why? Because you wouldn't let her die again. Not like in the car, drowning. You let this happen because of your love for her, but you did feel a slight urge to take it away since it was hurting the skeleton. "Why did he remember? Why'd you let him remember?" A bad part of your mind always makes you feel guilty...
He remembers for a reason. To end the resets. If no one knew about the resets no one would ever get out of the Underground. Frisk would feel above consequences. She did. She kind've was. But with one of the most powerful Monsters in the Underground knowing, he would surely intimidate her... right? But she keeps fighting. She wants to win the genocide route. But she's not alone, she has her Partner of course. Chara would fight for her sometimes. If Frisk ever wanted to give up and go back, Chara would argue and win. "Why does this happen?" For Frisk too learn she's not the strongest determined one there. She needed to be put in her place sometimes but you still waited for the day she'd get the pacifist ending.

"Aren't You lonely up there?"
...
"Yes"

You made yourself a friend....

But when Frisk started a pacifist route you had to make sure she did it this time so you used your magic to convince her this was a fun route and she'd have many years of fun after. So you basically just had to keep her positive. So much work to do for looking after her.

So much so you sent your friend down their to a place they'd live but would one day wish it came back...They would remember you. But you gave them reasons that they had to leave.

"Do you remember how sad they were?"
...

"I made a small sketch on the back of the cover of my book... a world for them. But surely all the pictures on the back of a cover are sure too fade away... it messes with them. If you've outlined a sketch and color it, it will last. But with just a sketch it'll be long forgotten... It's sure to have faded away by now..."

"What does that mean for them?"

"... it means that they're world is sure to disappear weather it's just fading to white or there will be a physical problem down there making it happen. Since they are the only one I Outlined on..."

"Will they be the only ones left to live?"

"Everything they loved and cherished will disappear. But this time even Frisk. I would not let them suffer like the other AU's with a Reset."

"What did you say when you sent him away?"

...
The look on your face was grim and horrifying.

"I promised to save them if anything went wrong and to see them again soon."

...

But that was ages ago.

You looked down as the voice in your head kept speaking too you

"Why didn't you outline his world?"
-...
"Why didn't you outline his family?"
-...
"Was it because you knew he'd have to turn to you and you'd have your friend back? That's a way to be about it"

This time you didn't have an answer back.

-"I'm sorry Cross..."
