"G-guys?" Lucy hesitantly voiced out when she didn't receive a reply. But there doesn't seem to be any surprise or joy in their eyes that was supposed to be there...

Awkward, she turned to the girl with white hair. "Hey, I'm Lucy." Attempting to be kind and happy like she used to be.

"Hi! I'm Lisanna! Mira-nee's and Elfman-nii's younger sister! Oh and natsu' best friend!" Her voice is so innocent and carefree, almost as if there is no hidden meaning behind her words...

Lucy's smile stiffened, still trying to differ if Lisanna is trying to diss her or not.

"Ne, Natsu! I'm not going on the job with you anymore! I'm going to talk to Lucy-chan~"

Saying so, she grabbed Lucy's arm towards a table, Lucy sloppily being dragged to a nearby table before roughly let go by Lisanna. Bothered by the slightly pain, Lucy held onto her wrist which is now slightly bruised from the unbreakable grasp of the white haired girl, trying hard not to wince at the pain. How is Lisanna so strong? It seems strange for a girl with such a cute appearance, however, thinking about her relation to Mira and Elfman... huh, that seems understandable.

"So.. What do you want to talk about?" Lucy weakly opened her mouth, she wasn't sure whether Lisanna likes her or not, judging from the intense pain at her wrist... she guessed not. But she didn't want it to be her judgement that leads to a friendship that hasn't even happened yet and it is already over. After all, FairyTail is a guild full of love and friendship, it is a family, so nothing can go worst than a small dislike and disharmony right?

With a smirk, Lisanna replied. "Oh look, the girl whom abandoned her team mates while they were injured is back~ Where have you been? Did you scurry off to cry because you are useless? Or did you disappeared so that you can find someone else to protect a weakling like you?"

"W-What? N-no! I-"

"Oh? Why are you so flustered? Did I hit the nail too hard? Was I wrong? Did you not abandon Natsu and them while they were injured from protecting you? I've heard a lot abut you, the celestial mage whom.. ha... couldn't protect herself nor can she help her members, what is the point in you?"

"T-That's not true! I can help! I can.."

"Shut it. I'm not here to listen to you talking nonsense and telling me how everything has not worked out for you. No. I'm just here to tell you that you do't belong here, you took my place in team Natsu, and now that I am back, I'll kindly accept my place that you took back. Oh and also, Natsu isn't your best friend, I don't know what makes you think that you are best friend, but now that I'm back, you can move and find new people. We don't need weaklings like you."

"Natsu is not like that! He is kind and friendly, there's no way that he will kick me out like this! Why are you like this?!"

Lucy's voice gradually grew louder which is now attracting attentions from the guild mates.

"Oh? Wanna try something and see the reactions?"

"Huh?"

Suddenly, Lisanna had grabbed Lucy's hand again and slapped it against her face. Lucy hasn't even comprehended what had happened yet and Lisanna was already crying on the group holding onto her face.

"Lisanna!"

Lucy watches as everybody crowded towards them, surrounding Lisanna in a protective stance... Lucy couldn't believe it... Did they really believe Lisanna? What?

"G-Guys! It wasn't me!"

"Stop lying! We saw it!! How could you hit Lisanna? You are only a replacement for Lisanna, what nerve do you have?"

Everybody has a furious gaze.. "Nobody believed me... why? Natsu will believe me! Natsu..where is he?"

Lucy furiously looked around searching for Natsu, but... after some search, she found him as well as team Natsu crouching down by Lisanna, Natsu was holding onto Lisanna like a porcelain doll, as if one look and she will break. Lucy's heart sank... she is not unfamiliar to everybody against her. She was all too familiar with how painful a glare could be. In fact, she never seemed to have escaped from the hateful glares and pitiful scorns. But she wanted to believe... believe that Fairy Tail will be different.

"I'm telling the truth... Natsu. Don't you believe me? I really didn't do it." Lucy looked heavy with yearning at Natsu, hoping that he will take her side and bring some hope to her.

"Lucy. Why did you hit Lisanna? She wasn't wrong that you have replaced her in the team. Lisanna has always been a team mate within team Natsu. She would be with us if it wasn't for the attack back then. You appeared and looked so pitiful, so I had offered a place for you. And that, was Lisanna's rightful place. You've abandoned us when we were injured. When I woke up, it wasn't you who was by my side. Where were you? "

"I-I'm sorry. I was.."

"No. Save it. I am disappointed in how you could leave your family behind, much less hit one. Lucy. You don't belong in Fairy Tail, you don't know how a family works. Leave."

Lucy stood flabbergasted, stunned by how ruthless and merciless Natsu's word had pierced her. He's right... Lucy really don't know how a family works. She haven't had one... how would she know? Trembling, Lucy held onto herself to prevent herself to fall. She felt that in any moment she will crash and stumble and she knows... nobody will catch her.

"I.. see. I'm sorry for causing you all troubles... I am sorry.... for not being able to become part of the family. I'm... very sorry. That my place here had been a waste of time and space..." Choking from her sobs, Lucy sprinted out of the familiar guild doors, out into the cold world where she knows she had no place in.  She wanted to look back but was too scared to see nobody chased her... she ran and ran until she can no longer recognise where she is. But that doesn't matter anymore. There is a cliff... and a warm sunlight that shone gently on her. She finally felt at peace even for a little.

Lucy stepped lightly towards the cliff, and reminisce her time with Team Natsu, how much a goofball Natsu, how Erza loves eating her strawberry cakes and how Gray took off his clothes even during fights. How Happy would always annoy her but truly the little blue cat cares a lot about her. She will definitely miss the annoying little blue cat. Smiling, a lonesome teardrop slid down her face as she stepped out once again.

Feeling nothing beneath her foot... she fell.
