Changes

Lucy's PoV

"What is it, Levy?" I asked the solid-script mage.

Levy had called Juvia, Kinana, and I to discuss 'something.'

"Yeah, I'd like to get back to my Gray!" Juvia said.

Kinana nodded in agreement.

"Erik was right at the best part of the story." Kinana said.

"I know, I know, I'm sorry about that. But, haven't you seen a certain few acting a little weird?" Levy asked.

Kinana gave Levy a questioning look.

"I'm talking about Gajeel, Natsu, Wendy, Erza, Gray, Erik, and Laxus." Levy said.

Suddenly understanding was present.

"Oh!" Juvia said in surprise. "Well, Gray has been a little... off. Even I know he doesn't, or didn't, want to pursue me every step I went." Juvia said, sighing.

"Gajeel's been acting a little strange too. Yesterday, he barely paid any attention to Panther Lily, and was padding and trying to follow me without me noticing! He always barges on me and let's me know he's there." Levy said.

I tried thinking about if Natsu was acting weird.

I felt like facepalming.

How had I forgot?

"Yeah, Natsu too! He's been using my door! The door! He just sits and waits for me. Talk about creepy!" I complained.

"Really? What has the world come to?" Juvia asked, seeming shocked.

"Erik's been telling stories. I don't remember that," Kinana admitted. "But they are good!"

"Have you noticed Erza? She seemed so tired all the time. Suddenly Jellal got here, and poof! It was if she was having a sugar rush! She also seems to drag Jellal wherever she goes." Levy said.

"Wendy's being odd, too." Romeo said.

I jumped, seeing the young fire mage.

"Gah! Where did you come from?" I asked in surprise.

Romeo ignored me.

"I can't place it, but... she's just being... Odd." Romeo said.

Levy nodded.

"It's the same with Laxus. He just seems to be off." Kinana said.

"Changes are happening, but I have no idea why!" Levy said.

"What do they have in common?" Romeo asked himself.

"They use slayer magic!" Kinana said.

"Erza's not a slayer." Levy pointed out.

"I don't know, she could slay anything if she wanted to." Romeo mumbled to himself.

"We have to find out!" Levy said, sounding determined.

"But how? We definitely can't go and ask them why or how they've changed." I said.

Juvia nodded in agreement.

"Well, we'll search the library then!" Levy said.

"Okay." Kinana and I agreed.

"Sounds good to me." Juvia nodded.

"Are you going to come, Romeo?" Levy asked.

Romeo shrugged.

"Sure, I don't have anything else better to do." He said.

Yukino's PoV

"Have you noticed Sting acting.. I don't know, a little weird?" I asked Minerva.

Minerva looked at me questionably.

"Has he? I haven't noticed. What's he been doing?" Minerva asked.

"I don't know. He just seems to be a little touchy," I mumbled. "And all... Cute and cuddly?" I said, doubting myself.

"Being touchy just proof he's being honest." Rogue jumped in.

Froshe and Minerva nodded in agreement.

 "Cute and cuddly?" Mineva asked, a mischievous smile on her lips.

"N-No! I didn't mean it like that! It's just, he, well, I, I don't know!" I said, becoming embarrassed and extremely warm.

"It's okay, I was just teasing you," Minerva said, chuckling. "But yes, being touchy just means Sting's honest."

"What does he need to prove about being honest about it?" I asked. "And he just seems, more touchy." I mumbled.

"What has he been doing exactly?" Rogue asked.

"Yeah! Fro would like to know too!" Froshe piped in.

"Well," I started. "He's been a lot more giggly. He's been visiting me more often." I said.

"Ah yes, there was that. I have been wondering why he seemed to keep visiting you in the dormitory. As for the giggle part, I just thought he was just letting loose. But he's already been extremely relaxed." Minerva said, thinking outloud.

"What about the touchy part?" Rogue asked, leaning in.

I blushed a light shade of pink.

Why was Rogue so interested suddenly?

He was Sting's best friend. Surely he could figure things out for himself?

I continued, nonetheless.

"He's been hugging and wrapping his hand around me quite a lot. He also tried tickling me a few times, but that seems like something Sting would do." I said.

"Sting is an affectionate person, but.." Minerva trailed off, as if not able to find the right words.

Rogue sighed.

"Come. I need to show you about something." Rogue said.

"Really?" Minerva and I asked.

"Yes, but it's for Yukino, really. Sting already knows about this. In brief, Gray, Erza, Laxus, Natsu, Erik, or Cobra, Wendy, Gajeel are feeling and being strange due to something they're all facing." Rogue explained.

"All of them?" I asked but Rogue didn't reply.

"Come on Froshe." Rogue said.

"Okay!" Froshe said, jumping into Rogue's arms.

Minerva seemed just as confused and curious as I was, but remained quiet as we followed Rogue.

What could Rogue be talking about? What was going on?
