Abuse is when your mom leaves you at the age of seven. She moved in with people that make you feel uncomfortable. And when you don't want to visit because if that. She yells at you and blames you. And emotionally breaks you down to the point where you can't trust anything or anyone.
Abuse is when your stepmother drags you by the hair through the house all because you have an old iPod that your parents didn't know about.
Abuse is when your dad throws you into a trash can and breaks your toe.
I'm sorry but I've been through it. I know what it feels like. And that's why when you claim I was the abusive one in our relationship I scoff at you. I can't fathom that people would believe you. And that's what hurts. They believe you but I could never do that to anyone.
