Only listen to the song in media when I tell you to. This chapter reveals Lucy's past.

Lucy's P.O.V:

I poked my salad, too excited to eat.

"Everything ok Luce?" Natsu raised a brow in concern.

"The name's Lucy." I sighed and continued my food poking session.

Silence started to intensify.

"Go sit with your girlfriend, Natsu." I turned away from him, only to be turned back by his strength.

I was now forced to look Natsu in the eye.

"How many times do I have to tell you? I don't have a girlfriend!" Fire was visible in his onyx eyes.

The thought of him physically hurting me because of anger flooded my eyes.

I gave my all at blinking back my tears but no prevail.

As the tears ran down my face, Natsu's grip on me was lifted.

His eyes now held an expression of softness and comfort.

As soon as he wasn't touching my skin, I ran, hearing footsteps behind me.

I ran quicker, taking twists and turns through the hallways to confuse him.

Once I saw Natsu was no longer behind me, I entered the music room, seeing all of the rows of empty chairs.

This year, the school started an art program, which took the music program's spot due to lack of popularity.

I wiped my tears as I lifted my laptop out of my satchel, following my microphone and speakers.

I plugged both microphones and speakers inside of the laptop I started the music and began to sing the lyrics.

(Queue the media.)

🎶Why, did you leave me here to burn🎶

Natsu's P.O.V:

As I continued searching for Lucy, I hear music coming from the music room.

Didn't they switch out music for art?

I pressed my ear against the door, wanting to hear the music, and see the owner of the voice.

🎶I Have Questions for you, number one, tell me who you think you are, you've got some nerve tryin to tear my faith apart (I Have Questions for you)🎶

The voice continued, slaying all of the notes that were sung by her.

Once the song ended, I heard a familiar voice, it was faint, but I could've sworn it was Luce's.

"I wish I could tell someone."

And with those words, I heard the sound of her laptop shutting, and bags being ruffled.

I was about to find out who "her" was.

As the sound if footsteps became louder, I lifted my ear from the door to see Lucy walking out, dropping her messenger bag in shock.

"You heard, didn't you." She sighed.

"Yeah. And you're amazing!" I patted her on the back, hoping it'd boost her confidence.

"How did you come up with such an emotional tune anyway?" I asked, regretting it as I saw her eyes start to water.

"I'm sorry did I ask something wrong?" I quickly started to apologize.

"No. I need to tell someone anyway." Lucy smiled lightly through tears.

Lucy's P.O.V Flashback:

"Sting!" I yell as I start dashing through the halls, searching with enthusiasm for my lover.

I was especially excited today because I was about to propose to my long time lover.

I know, odd for a girl to propose, but I think it'd be cool.

I love him, and I don't want to leave him.

I then spot Sting chatting with his older brother Rogue.

I change my set of direction to match Sting's location.

"He Sting! Can I talk to you in private babe!~" I bat my eyelashes as I jump up to attempt to kiss his cheek.

Oddly, Sting dodged the kiss and nodded, which was my signal to lead him into an empty hallway.

"Sting, you've been my boyfriend since middle school and my best friend for 13 years. Will you marry me?" I squat into a kneeling position stiffly.

I got no response, unless you call running away one.

Lucy's P.O.V:

"The next day he was transferred to Sabertooth, along with Rogue." I finally said it. I finally shared why I couldn't get into a relationship.

Sorry guys, I know this chapter is crappy, but bare with me!
