(Stiles' POV)

I sat bolt upright, a grin plastered on my face. Our dogs, Reese and Riemann jumped off the bed, clearly startled, which in turn woke Lydia. I leaned over and kissed her, then pulled away and grinned.
"Stiles, you haven't even brushed your teeth yet. I get you're excited-" She began. Before she could finish, I grabbed her hands and pulled her to her feet, jumping up and down on the bed.
"Excited? Are you kidding me? I could go to the moon and back right now!" She laughed and began to bounce with me. Seeing our excitement, the dogs began to bark at us. Lydia, who was laughing so hard she could barely breathe, turned towards the dogs and shushed them, before beginning to laugh again. "Come on! I want to make you pancakes before I leave. I won't be back until Friday, remember?" I stepped off the bed and turned back towards Lydia. At this, she sobered up.
"But you just got back from D.C." She whined.
"I know, and I'm really sorry, but I just want to enjoy this before we leave, ok?" I walked over to her. With me standing on the ground, and her on the bed, with no heels on, my lips were level with her nose. I kissed her lightly, then wrapped my arms around her waist, and kissed her on the lips. She smiled, then pulled away.
"So, what was that about pancakes?"

"I love you." I kissed Lydia one last time before dashing out the door. I was already late, and missing a suit jacket. My gun - although not loaded - was in the holster on my hip, and my tie was tied - courtesy of Lydia. Reluctantly, I passed by Roscoe and got into the Audi. Lydia and I had traded cars recently - she was working as a mythological creatures professor and research scientist at a nearby college, and she didn't need to go far. This car also had working AC and navigation. Squinting at my phone, I inserted my destination. "Riverdale," I muttered. "This is going to be incredible! Freaking FBI!" I honked my horn twice and then drove.

I pulled up outside the Riverdale Police Department. It was a nice enough looking building - although it looked to be about the size of the operating room at the Animal Clinic back in Beacon Hills. There was a middle-aged man standing outside the door, next to six teenagers. I furrowed my brows, then exited my car. Promptly banging my head on the door. There was a smothered laugh, then silence. The middle-aged man walked toward me. There was a rather large badge on his belt reading 'SHERIFF." Resisting the urge to roll my eyes, I smiled at the man. "Sheriff Keller?" I asked, holding out my hand.
"Stinkiski? From the FBI?" He crossed his arms.
"My name is actually Micyzslaw Stilinski, but since I doubt you can even spell that, call me Stiles. Now, where is the best coffee shop, and who the hell are those teenagers?"

As soon as I was comfortably seated in a booth at a café called Pop's Chock'lit Shoppe, and had bid the Sheriff a not so pleasant goodbye, the six teenagers slid into my booth. There were two redheads, one Hispanic girl with a rope of pearls around her neck, an impeccably dressed brunette boy, a blonde girl with a very tight ponytail, and a boy wearing one of the weirdest beanies I had ever seen. They all stared at me as I sipped my coffee. "Is there a problem?" I muttered, trying not to spit out the scalding liquid.
"Are you going to question us?" One of them spoke up. It was the blonde-ponytail girl. She looked determined, if not slightly scared.
"My literal job description is 'detain teenagers and question them. If not, torture them." I took another sip of coffee.
"Wait, seriously?" The redheaded boy asked. It took almost all my self-control for my jaw not to drop. Did this kid actually think that I detained and tortured teenagers for a living? Luckily, someone else spoke up.
"He's kidding, dumbass. He just murders them." This was the boy with the weird beanie. I rolled my eyes, then sat forward, setting my coffee cup down on the table.
"I do actually have to question you, and considering this is my first day on the job, can you at least tell me your names and why you are so interested in this case?" All six teenagers looked at each other as I said this and then seemed to come to a silent agreement.
"I'm Elizabeth Cooper." The blonde-ponytail girl said. I nodded at her in silent gratitude.
"Jughead Jones." The sarcastic one said. I knew that name - his father had been wrongfully arrested for the murder of Jason Blossom last year. He seemed rigid. It was clear Jughead Jones was not at all a fan of police officers or federal government.
"Veronica Lodge." The girl with the pearls smiled at me. I almost spilled my coffee at this. The FREAKING FBI put me on my first assignment, and one of the teenagers I was questioning was Hiram Lodge's daughter? The same Hiram Lodge who was currently being investigated for embezzlement, fraud, and several other major crimes? This was the world's worst coincidence.
"Archie Andrews." The male redhead who thought I detained and tortured teenagers spoke.
"I'm so sorry about your father. My condolences to your family." If there was one thing I could do, it was relate to teenage boys with broken families. I didn't wish that upon anyone.
"Kevin Keller." This was the well-dressed brunette. The sheriff's son? This day kept getting better.
"Oh, for heavens' sake, just get to it. My name is Cheryl Blossom." The redheaded girl spoke up. As I turned to look at her, I did a double-take. She looked exactly like teenage Lydia.
"Alright, fine. Let's get to it," I said, shaking my head to clear it. "Now, I'm assuming you all can answer these questions without any levels of sarcasm?" I pulled out my notebook, looking around at the teenagers around me.
"Only if you can answer them without any levels of stupidity," Jughead responded. I gasped.
"That's my line!"

(A/N) OMGGGGGGGGGG wow ok so I love this. like stydia/bughead/barchie/varchie/beronica/sciles. YAYYYYYY. I'd like to thank @cherylsvixens for posting this on Instagram, and @inshaaaaah for relating to me and inspiring this. I get this chapter isn't great, but fingers crossed it will get better from here on out. ALSO, same cast as always, except for the fact that we are going to have Sabrina Carpenter playing Stiles' FBI partner, and Shawn Mendes and Bradley Steven Perry are going to make appearances? AS SOUTHSIDE SERPENTS? I'm excited. Comment down below your thoughts. Also, I'm really sorry about the formatting, I'm trying to fix that now.

love you,
