It took my about five days to recover. I had had a big blow to the back of the head which caused a small crack in my skull, it was nothing serious though and would completely heal within a few months. I slowly got used to walking again, my dissiness now fading. The nurses were very nice and helped me every step of the way. My family visited regularly bringing get well cards and presents from friends. They were really supportive and I enjoyed their visits. Though no matter how hard I tried I couldn't help but hope for a different person to appear every time those white doors swung open.
On Saturday they discharged me. I made my way out of the hospital (with only a few wrong turns along the way) and took my first shaky step onto the pavement. I could feel the warmth of the sun falling gently onto my hair, creeping its way across my skin. It had been too long, I had missed the feeling. My dad had sent a limo to collect me and I could see it just a little bit down the street. I walked down and hopped in the back.
"Home, Miss?" Asked the Limo driver as he pulled out.
"No there's somewhere else I want to go first" I said and then I smiled; "And please" I said as I strapped myself in; "call me Chelsea"

We arrived at Dance Works a little after three, I really hoped they hadn't gone home yet and Ashley was still slaving away on them, working them to perfection.
As I stepped into the office part, I felt something I hadn't felt in years, fear. The fear was welling up inside of me and and this time I didn't have the strength to push it down. I was so nervous that the lady at the desk had to repeat what she said twice before I realised she was speaking to me.
"Oh, sorry what did you say?" I said, shaking my head, trying to knock the doubts out of it.
"Are you Chelsea?" She asked.
"Ermm...yes" I answered, raising my eyebrows (both of them this time)
She smiled; "Wonderful, please follow me"
She stood up and walked down a corridor to the right towards a pair of double doors. I followed, mesmorised.
"I'm sorry" I said "but how do you know my name?"
"Oh Perri told me" She said; "Well actually he told everyone, Mitch was especially excited he never shuts up about it to me, I'm glad you came or I might had have to shoot myself" She laughed. Thats when I recongnised her.
"Oh your Kimberely, Mitchs girlfriend right?" I asked.
"Thats right" She said brightly. She bent down; "I don't really know why" She whispered and winked at me. I laughed, I knew she was trying to make me feel better, and it was working...a little bit.
When we got to the door, she put her hand on the door as if to push it open then she stopped and turned to me.
"Good luck" She said.
"You not coming?" I asked.
"Nah, I won't steal your big moment" She said, smiling. Then she winked once more and strode off down the corridor leaving me standing just out side the room that contained the eight people that mattered most to me. I took a deep breath and opened the door.
