Ch. 6
"Wait wait wait." I pause. "What?!" I start to tear up then I faint because I couldn't believe it was true.
“Get her.” One whispers to the youngest.
The youngest of them all, probably around my age, carries me bridle style up to my bedroom, he puts me on my bed, and then goes to tell my siblings to pack everything they have. I put my pillow over my head and start piling blankets over me.
Then, I feel someone sit down on my bed.
“What the heck do you want with me and my siblings!” I yell.
He twirls and plays with my dirty blonde hair. Until it got annoying.
“Come on let’s pack your bags.” He said with his gentle voice he sounded so cute!
I push his hand away from me. I wondered to myself where he was from?, the place where i’m going?, or from the funeral home?, but he looked to young to be from a funeral home because that’s usually old people’s jobs. He helped me stand, he was strong, but I was still wobbly.
“Where are we going?” I ask staring into his ice blue eyes
“To umm, uhh, I’m not sure but what I am sure of is you’ll be safe with me and I won’t let anyone hurt you.” He said.
I knew he was hiding something, maybe about where I was going or where he came from or maybe even if he knew me, but he was definitly hiding something. I just didn't know what.
He leaves the room, probably to tell the other men something. And I didn’t even know his name.
