I went to my bestfriend's house to rant to him. With support, he comforted me and hugged me as we sat in front of the fireplace.
We talked and talked... it was going to be a long night. But it was one of those long
nights that I wanted to last forever."What's your favorite color?"
"Mmmmm... maybe pastel pink. How about you?""Maybe blue."
"Your turn. Ask me a question."
"What's another question you have?"
"Well played." I said laughing."Hahaha." And he smiled at me.
"What's love to you?" I said, taking a deep sigh.
"You."
"Davynn..."
"It's been a long time. I just didn't know how to tell you."I faced him and our faces came closer.
My heart beating, tensions raised."Should've said sooner."
His lips moved with mine. When he moved away, I opened my eyes and he opened his. His glance stole my heart but his lips owned it.
He moved closer to me again and we found a rhythm as he held my face to continue making out with me.
"Davynn wait."
"Why'd you stop?""What about your girlfriend..."
"I broke it off with her."
"Oh when?"
"Last week."And so we continued where we left off.
When we finished, my head rested on his chest as the fire burning. He braced his arm around me, thinking I fell asleep and he whispered.
"I love you, goodnight."
I smiled and i mouthed the words,
"I love you too."
