chapter 5 - finding Chase

It had now been 2 days since the sisters of the dark took Kahlan and richard was trying to keep faith that she was alive because he couldn't bear the thought that she might be dead "Richard were not far from the city where Chase is living" said zedd cara knew that finding Chase was their only hope at saving kaglan because otherwise they would be outnumberd "so this Chase guy you sure he will help us " cara asked "yes he'll help kahlan risked everything to save his family so he will want to help her".
Everyone was quiet for a while until they reached a small town which was where chase was living "thank the spirits were here" said zedd Richard didn't say anything he just kept walking nearer the town on hopes of finding Chase. "Spirits be damned said a voice walking up to the trio Richard is that you"? Richard looked up to see chases wife "Emma its so good to see you we really need to speak to chase where is he" said Richard, Emma knew something was wrong "come with me" the trio followed her to a small house "Chase it's Richard" said Emma the trio walked in to see Chase standing in front of them "Richard cypher what brings you here" the trio looked at Chase with sad faces "what's wrong wait where is kahlan" Richard looked up "she's gone the sisters of the dark took her and are going to kill her" Chase stood back shocked at what he heard "Richard I'm so sorry I'll help in any way I can but why was she taken" zedd stepped forward and started to explain about the keeper and the new prophecy and kahlan " I will help you get kahlan back she helped me and my family she saved them and now it's my turn to help her" he said Richard was so happy that he was going to help them " we are going to need some of the resistance fighters too" Chase immediately agreed and the trio told Chase the plan to save kahlan.
