Marcus screamed as he walked out the hospital ward
Lucas: Louise... I'm sorry, I should of gone after her...
Louise: it's not your fault, everybody gets mad. Don't feel like it's your fault.
Lucas: What have I done?!
Lucas whispered to hims of as he quickly walked out the room
Louise: hunny, I know you can hear me... And I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I'm sorry for taking you away from your home, your dad, your friends... It was wrong of me, I just... I needed to get away from it all and I couldn't deal with your dad moaning at me. Telling me it's my fault we are divorced. But I couldn't even think about leaving you with him. I'm your mother... I will always be by your side... I love you.
Kaytlyn: I know mum... And I love you so much.
Louise: oh my god... Kaytlyn! Your awake?!
She said cupping Kaytlyn's face gently with her hands
Kaytlyn: hi mum😊
They both sat there crying tears of joy together.
***couple of weeks later***
Louise walked into Kaytlyn's room and sat on her bed
Kaytlyn: hi mum
Louise: hi hunny, how are you feeling?
Kaytlyn: I'm feeling great
Louise: good. Have you spoken to Lucas and Marcus yet?
Kaytlyn: nah
Louise: oh, why not
Kaytlyn: I just don't feel like wasting my time arguing with them😒
Louise: oh ok. Well can you tidy your room?
Kaytlyn: ughh whyyyyy
Louise: your friends are coming to visit for a couple of weeks.
Kaytlyn: who and weeks?!
Louise: Bridget, jade and Alissa and yes, there mums have agreed to let them live with us and they might be staying for a while.
Kaytlyn: that's so cool!
Louise: they with be here later and you will need to show them their rooms and when you go back to school show them around. Ok?
Kaytlyn: yep😊
Louise: good. I'm going to go and make dinner for you all. They should be here soon
***40 minutes later***
*knock knock*
Kaytlyn: aggghhhh they are hereeeee!!!!!
She screams while running towards the door
Louise: kaytlyn! Slow down. You will hurt yourself!
Kaytlyn opens the door and her eyes fill with disappointment.
