Chapter 1

Hi my name is Mia. I'm 17 years old, I live in New Jersey, and go to a normal high school. I love to dance! It has always been my passion for many years. Anyways I'm starting my first day of senior year!!!! I'm literally beyond excited because when I graduate I want to go to college and dance. Ok this is me now let's begin this day!

I woke up more ready then ever. I went to the bathroom and did my usual routine wash my face, brush my teeth, put on some foundation, mascara, and filled in those brows of mine. I went to my closet and picked out some jeans, plain white t-shirt, cute casual rose gold bomber jacket, and some white converse. I went downstairs and saw my mom smiling and almost tearing up as I walked down the stairs. "Mom omg you don't have to get so emotional!" "I know I know but your a senior and in just a blink of an eye you will be off to college." She started crying so I went in and comforted her with a hug and a kiss. I looked down at the time. "Oh man it's time for me to go. Love you mom see you later." "Bye honey have a nice first day!" I grabbed my keys, hopped in my car and picked up some Starbucks on my way to school.

Once I got there I saw my best friend Alisha and I bolted towards her. "Omg Mia we are seniors and btw you look fabulous!" "Thanks girly. You as well look fabulous! So where is your boyfriend Grant at?" So, Alisha had a boyfriend and I did not. I was pretty okay with that because I need to focus on college and all of that stuff. "Well his car got a flat tire...so I don't know where he is at all!" We both laughed. "So do you have any classes with me this year?" I asked her as we got our schedules out. "Dang it we only have health together!" "And that's the most boring subject of all times!" "It will be fine." She said. "We will meet back together at lunch." "Okay see you later!" I waved. While I was walking to my first class I was feeling pretty down because Alisha is literally the only person I hang out with and not having her in most of my classes is going to be horrible!

In our first class we had to partner up with someone we didn't know and get to know them. Since we were all talking the teacher got to pick for us. Once I heard my name I got really nervous because I didn't know anyone in this class. "Mia and...Grayson. You two will be partnered together." Great a boy! Why couldn't have been a girl or a boy that isn't cute!!!!
I walked over to where he was sitting. "Umm...hi I'm Mia." "I already knew that." He said laughing. "Oh right she just said our names." I laughed too. "So what do you plan on doing in life?" I asked. "Well I want to move to LA and make YouTube videos and make people happy around the world." "Wow that's really amazing!" "Really? It's amazing?" He asked surprised. "Yeah it is. You are literally trying to make people happy and that's literally just so cool!" "Wow thanks no one ever thinks of it that way." I could see him blushing a little which made me blush so I just looked down so he wouldn't see.

Grayson's POV

I started turning bright red. This girl literally gave me such a weird feeling inside that I've never felt before in my life! "So what are your plans in life?" I asked before I could turn anymore red. "Well I want to go to college and have a career in dance." "Wow dance! You know I have some pretty cool dance moves myself." "Oh really!" "Yeah!" I stood up with all my confidence and tried to do some dabs because I can't dance and I just noticed that right when I started. I heard laughs from her. "Well those were some sweet dance moves." "Uh yeah they were." I thought for a second and right when I was about to say something the bell rang. "Well I'll see you later Grayson!" When she started to walk I stopped her by grabbing her hand. She looked at me fast with a surprised look and then I let go fast. "I was just wondering if I could get your number and we could talk later?" "Hmmm..." I started to think she was going to say no. "Um Grayson sorry but no." My heart sank. "Hahaha I got you of course you can have my number!! We need to finish this conversation anyways." "Oh ok great!!" We exchanged phones and got each others number. I was so excited to text her tonight ugh I just can't wait!!!
