Annabeth was sprawled on her bed , textbooks and homework sheets covered all the space around her .
She sighed and looked at the photo frame that was sitting in front of her .
She picked it up , her fingers touching it delicately , sliding across the frame . Staring at the picture of her and Percy .
A tear slid down her cheek . 'I miss you seaweed brain ...'
She sniffled and quickly regained herself , wiping the tear away . She smiled and placed the frame in its special spot on her bedside table .
What Annabeth didn't know was her dad had been secretly watching from outside . He smiled 'Ive got a phone call to make .'
---- The next day at school
As Annabeth made her way to the library she noticed a group of girls giggling and surrounding a boy .
She rolled her eyes 'Some poor new victim ... '
Just as she started walking again she heard her name being called .
The boy pushed through the crowd . His sea-green eyes glinted , his hair messy as usual and a cheeky , mischievous smile planted on his face .
Annabeth ran up to him . Percy spun her around before planting a quick kiss on her lips .
The other girls watched in awe as Annabeth dragged the hot boy off .
Annabeth turned to Percy 'Not that I'm not excited that you're here .. what are you doing here ?'
Percy put his arm around her shoulder and kissed her forehead . 'Let's just say I got a special phone call . '
