Hi my name is Adi. This is my first story on wattpad and I'm really happy that I can finally share it. I wrote this story on writer's amino so if you want to read the original you can find it there ( the plot is quite similar but I changed it a bit). Hope you like the first chapter. ʕ•ﻌ•ʔ

She opened her eyes and saw that she was being carried by her mother, while her father was following them from behind. They were getting nearer to the river that split they're clan's territory to the One Eyed's. She closed her eyes as she dosed off to sleep.
"We can't leave her here alone," cried her mother. "We have to River, she'll have water, food and shelter. She will be safe," said her father. Tears were shed between the parents, but little did they know, there was someone hiding behind a tree.
A One Eyed with pink hair ran towards them, holding a spear in her hand. She pointed the spear at the family. " Who are you and what are you doing here?," said the One Eyed fiercely, " Leave now".
Her mother looked deeply in the One Eyed's eye and said " Our side of the territory was attacked. There was no hope for our clan so we ran, as far as we could. We came here, knowing that we can't take our daughter with us, so please take care of her. She's all we have left". The One Eyed looked at the baby. Her mother handed her baby to the One Eyed.
"What is her name?"
"She doesn't have one, we never thought of one"
"I'll come up with one soon enough. My name's Petal"
"River and Lock"
"I'll take good care of her"
Petal ran back to her camp, holding the baby. When she reached the entrance the clan's leader, Lita, looked at her with disappointment. "Where were you Petal? I sent you to hunt, not to daydream. What is that?"."It is a child that I found near the river"."She doesn't have the One Eyed mark, we'll have to have a marking ceremony when she is 5. You are dismissed". "Thank you".
Petal placed her in a basket. Petal noticed the baby was looking at a crystal pendant that Petal's mother gave her before she died. That's it, her name. Crystal Pendant.
