Miles Edgeworth could never have been more proud of his father as he proved Prosecuter von Karma concealed evidence from the court. Miles was 9 years old, and loved seeing his father battle in court. Even when the judge said 'Guilty', Miles was still proud of his father for doing his best, which he thought was the best in the whole world. Miles ran to his father after the case was over, grinning at him. "You did great, Father!" Miles said as he gave his father a hug. His Father, Gregory Edgeworth, gave his son a gentle smile. "Thank you." he said to his son, who was still smiling. Miles then made an angry face, as he glanced over to the prosecutors bench, where Prosecuter Manfred von Karma stood, glaring an evil glare at Edgeworth. He then walked over to where Edgeworth was standing. It appears as if he's calmed down, atleast. Thought Mr. Edgeworth. Edgeworth spoke, breaking the silence. "You won the trial, Karma. What else do you want?". von Karma gave Edgeworth a glare. "My perfect record, cracked, because of you...!!!" von Karma looked angrier again. "Your record only cracked because you concealed evidence!" A little voice spoke up. It was young Miles, with a determained  fire in his eyes. "If you want a perfect record, try being honest,  truly on the side of justice!" At this, von Karma spun around to face the small boy. "Do you not realize? Your father defends criminals! Only cowards defend those who deserve to be condemed!" Miles felt himself shaking with anger. "My father is not a coward. You're the coward!". von Karma laughed. "How am I a coward then boy? Explain it to me." "Only amatuers conceal evidence! Only cowards are afraid to face the truth!" Miles said, full of passion as he spoke. His father smiled at him, thinking what a smart, honest Defense Attorney he'd make. von Karma sputtered with anger. "Are you calling me an amatuer?!" Miles noticed how angry von Karma was getting, and took a few steps back towards his father before replying "Yes". von Karma swung his leg in utter fury at Miles, who didn't move in time. His father rushed to him, holding him in his arms. Miles was crying, but faced his father trying to hide it from von Karma, even though he knew he was crying with all the sniffling. Gregory Edgeworth slowly turned to von Karma, with anger in his voice as he spoke. "So, you are a coward. Hitting children when they speak the truth." von Karma shook his head. "Your child does not listen to his elders as he should." Edgeworth turned on his heel and started walking away. He stopped for a moment and turned his head to look at the prosecutor. "Only a child with sense wouldn't listen to you." Then he walked away, towards the elevator.

K y'all. I know this stinks, so give me a breakkkk (with coffee). I wrote it during a car trip but never uploaded it, so here it ish. I wonder if ol' Manny is capable of swinging his leg? That would be a sight to see. I'd be laughing, not crying or I'd kick em back. Anyways, enjoy disss. *Bai my wuvly puffles and carrot sticks*~Kay
