I'm sorry Mama (Part 1)

Summary: Madison is Camila's ten year old daughter. She loves Camila endlessly and would do everything to protect her mommy. At first when Camila tells her that she's seeing someone she accepts it. That soon changes when she tells her that this new lover is a woman. Lauren tried everything to get Madison to like her but nothing she did seemed to help. What happens when there's a bad accident and Maddy regrets everything?

This story will have more parts than one. Maybe like three or four.:)

*Camila*

'' Yeah babe, I'll tell her tonight.'' I'm on the phone with my girlfriend Lauren. We were talking about my daughter. Again.

Lauren and I have been daiting for three months now and she really wanted to meet Maddy. The problem was that Maddy didn't know that I'm seeing someone, let alone a girl.

Ever since her dad died four years ago, she is really protective over me. She said she has to step in her father's footsteps.

So now I'm on the phone with Lauren, trying to figure out how I'm going to tell her.

'' What if you come over for Dinner, so she gets to know you, then you become her friend and then we will tell her?'' I asked my girlfriend.

" Ok, sounds like a plan. What time should I be there?"

" Umm I would say around 6?"

" Ok, I'll be there."

"Okay. Love you babe."

" Love you too princess. Byeee."

I smiled at the way she said bye. I can't believe how lucky I am to call this woman mine.

I never in a million years thought I would fall in love again, after what happened with my husband. I loved him so much. He was the best father and husband you could ever ask for. He was sweet, caring and just a really good man in general.

Four years ago he had a car accident. It was really bad. He died on the scene and I didn't get to say goodbye to him. Neither did Maddy. We were so broken after his death.

I fell into a deep depression. I tried to kill myself two times. Maddy tried everything to make me happy, even though she was just as hurt as I was.

She is the reason why I'm still alive.

And this is why I was scared to fall in love again. I needed four years to realize that I need someone by my side and then I met Lauren.

I was scared at first, but she is just perfect. I couldn't help falling in love with her. And I hope we can grow old together.

This is my second chance given by God and I will gladly take it.

" Bye you dork." I said and ended the call.

I sighed and my my way to my daughters room.

I lightly knocked on her door and heard her saying 'come in'.

She sat on her bed, with her teddy bear that her dad gave her, and read a book.

" Hey Mom." She said and made space for me to sit.

"Hey baby." I said, sitting down and stroking her head lovingly. " Hey, umm, is it okay, if a friend of mine joins us for dinner today?" I asked carefully.
