(A/N) sooooo this is my first published book the rest are crap so lets see how this goes

I slammed my suitcase filled with sheet music and a few articles of clothing then looked to my guitar on my windowsill. "Time for us to leave this dump old friend" I say as I carefully place my beautiful black bass guitar into its case covered in band stickers. Picking up the suitcase and guitar, I looked to my desk and glanced at the plane tickets. "Am I ready to do this? sure i don't like it here but this is all I've known my whole life..." Josh sat on his bed now completely bare of sheets and pillows and stared at his empty walls where posters used to hang, hearing my parents yelling at each other reminded me I couldn't stay here without going insane. Suddenly his sister, Chloe, burst through the door. "HEY do you wanna play some 'Don't starve'?" she asked then saw the tickets. Chloe let out a small sigh "YOU PROMISED!!!!" she screamed as she slammed his door shut and ran out of his room. Josh face palmed then grabbed the plane tickets and rushed into his parents room. "CAN YOU TWO STOP FIGHTING FOR ONE SECOND?!" he sighed and everything paused for a second as his parents noticed the suitcase. His mother simply just gave him a hug "Good luck out there..." she said as she patted him on the back. While his mother was quite kind about the whole situation, his father gave Josh a death glare. " He's not ready for the real world, he can hardly keep his room clean let alone get a job and live by himself!" with that Josh tightly hugged his father "love you too dad..bye you little bitch" and with that Josh started to walk out of his parents room. Chloe started helping drag his suitcases downstairs and out of the house.

~TIME SKIP~

"Here goes nothing..." Josh stepped onto the plane taking a deep breath. He hadn't flown on a plane since he was 4 and honestly, he was quite terrified. He took his seat and buckled the belt tight around his waist and gripped the armrests tightly. "Thank you for boarding Air Canada, we will be taking off shortly. Please fasten your seatbelt and stay seated throughout the ride" he heard the woman on the intercom say. With that, he felt the plane jolt forward and he shut his eyes so tight he could see stars. The plane took off, and Josh's
new life started.
