Chapter Three: A New Beginning

A/N: IM SO SORRY!!! I havent Updated in forever! ive been busy.

Josh's Perspective

Stepping foot off the plane shakily, Josh sighed in relief. "Thank god I didn't die" he thought that thinking that was stupid, since planes were safe in this day and age. As he walked out of the airport and waited for a taxi, a million thoughts were rushing through his head. Thoughts about how his living conditions were going to be, or how his first job would go, whether he'd like his boss "STOP" he yelled internally. Taking a deep breath, he stepped into the taxi, ready to see his new home. It was a small apartment above a local cafe called The Mint Leaf Cafe. Josh tried to keep his thoughts positive. "Maybe once I start working at the music shop I can promote my work and music at the cafe!" Cheering up a bit a small smile spread across Josh's face as they rounded the corner and he saw it. The Mint Leaf Cafe. "Hm...Small and away from the city. I like it!"

Vanessa's Perspective

I am so happy to have friends where I work. I don't know what I'd do without them. Finally getting the courage to go back to work, Vanessa remembered that someone new was moving into the upstairs apartment at noon and she was supposed to help them. Looking down at her watch and seeing both hands at the twelve, she ran out into the cafe fixing her appearance so it didn't look like she was just bawling.

*Ding*

The door slowly swung open revealing a tall man and a very small suitcase. His eyes wandered and looked at every aspect of the cafe. Smiling , he walked up to the register and greeted Gale. Pointing to a short figure that was frantically trying to organize herself, The man nodded and walked towards Vanessa. She looked up as the man practically towered over her. "I'M SO DONE WITH GUYS RIGHT NOW WHYYYYYY" she whined to herself. As they introduced themselves, Vanessa stomped up the stairs while Josh quietly followed with suitcase and guitar case in hand. Vanessa attempted to shove the heavy bedroom door open, only finding herself quite frustrated. With a quick twist of the handle and hardly any effort, Josh opened the door. "Well, this is it. The bedroom is here and there is a small kitchen on the right and one bathroom on the left." she explained pointing everything out. "If you need anything, I'm downstairs..." Vanessa scoffed and she was gone as fast as she arrived. Josh flopped on his bed exhaling loudly.
