"Another one! Another human!" The autobot medic groaned as he glanced over at you who was leaning over the rail of the platform for the other three humans.
"I won't be much trouble. I can assure you that." You said honestly to the red and white medic who was fiddling with his tools to keep himself from blowing a fuse.
"Tch, Miko said the same thing." The big green bot in the corner mumbled, waiting with his teammates for their leader to get back from patrol to assess the situation.
"This is so awesome! I can't believe my best friend is with us!" Miko screamed in excitement as she bear hugged you. Almost causing both of you to fall over the safety rail.
"Any signal of the bot that Starscream was talking too?" The small femme questioned the medic, servos on her hips as she looked up at the screen with anticipation.
::I'm telling you! She just disappeared into thin air!:: The yellow bot named Bumblebee beeped.
"Into thin air huh?" The femme questioned, before glancing over at you and Miko. "Kid! You wouldn't of happen to-" she was shortly cut off from the rumbling sound of tires entering the base. A blue and red semi truck rolling in before transforming. You managed to wiggle you head out of Miko's death hold. Your eyes widened at the sheer size of who you can guess was their leader.
"I was informed there was a complication?" The Mechs voice was baritone and had authority to it. It made you feel unofficial to this mech with being in human form instead of your alt-mode where you would salute him properly.
"You could say that." The femme gestured to your waiting form leaning over the safety rail. The mech turned to where his teammate had gestured. Craning your neck just to look up at him. Those blue optics met your (E/C) pink hued eyes.
"I assume, you are the leader?" You asked trying to sound like you didn't have any idea of what they were even though it was ironic that you were one of them.
The mech nodded his helm slowly and a flicker of his optics "I am Optimus prime Leader of the Autobots. We are sentient beings from the planet cybertron. We have come to your planet with the hopes of stopping the Decepticons from harming those that habit this planet."
Glancing down at your shoes then at your hands before looking up at Optimus "The gray one? He was a Decepticon wasn't he?" You asked in fake curiosity.
"Starscream. Your lucky Bee saved you before he could do anything else." Arcee explained
"Bee wasn't the only one that saved me. My guardian was there too" you stated earning everyone's attention much to your displeasure. "Um.. that autobot Bee encountered. That was actually my guardian, they only come when I'm in danger."
"Shouldn't they be with you at all times?" Raphael asked, concern in his eyes as he looked up from his computer "I mean, Starscream knows who you are now."
"Raphael is right. You must be under the watchful eyes of one of our own." Optimus stated looking over at the medic who waved his hand showing that he was not going to cooperate with anymore humans. Knowing that the rest of his team had their own human he couldn't think of anyone else for the job besides himself.
"Given that there is no else available. I will be your assigned guardian."
"That's very generous of you Optimus. My name is (Y/N)." You introduced yourself, placing a hand over your chest and smiled.
"Awesome! Come on! I'll give you a tour of the base!" Miko shrieked, grabbing your arm and pulling you away making it look like you were a flying flag from how fast Miko had grabbed you.
"Miko! I have legs!" You shouted, panting from how fast your over excited friend was pulling you.
"Oops, sorry. Forgot you aren't the fastest." You waved your hand and shook your head when regaining your breath "I was never fast to begin with."
"Do you still want to continue the tour?" Miko asked, concerned that she may of broke her best friend.
"No no, it's cool. We can continue." You smiled just before seeing a half open door to what looked like one of the rooms. "We're not aloud to go in any of these." Miko warned, standing outside as she watched you walk in "Don't worry Miko. I'm not going to touch anything" you stated while jumping onto what seemed like a cabinet of some sort.
"Archives?" You read one of the electronic files. Seeing that it looked like an datapad. The screen suddenly flashed white as series of an unknown language popped up before it converted in what seemed like a video.
"Hey Miko! I think you would want to see this!" You called to your friend but there was no reply. The video played to show what seemed like cybertron only not destroyed. There was civilization and there were Autobots living almost like humans did. The video suddenly cut to what seemed like a photo of a younger Optimus and several of his friends. The only thing was that there was a glare over this smaller Autobot standing in between Optimus. You quickly tapped the screen to turn off the file before climbing out of the cabinet.
"Optimus!" You gasped, seeing that he had entered the room you were about to leave. Feeling guilt weigh on your shoulders "I'm sorry for intruding." You apologized to which the mech simply lifted you onto his extended hand and placed you on what you assumed as a desk before closing the cabinet.
"The file. Who took that video?" You questioned, curiously only to receive a small sigh from the autobot leader before speaking.
"A friend. We were separated by the war. The only time we managed to see one another was on kaon."
