Happy Halloween! I'm going as Selina Kyle from Gotham Season One and I'm hypedThe group's Halloween costumes (except for Jaydon and you'll see why)

Before we knew it, Halloween had come around. Everyone was hit hard when the day came around since it was Lorna's birthday, but we powered through. We agreed that Lorna wouldn't have wanted us to just mope around on her favorite holiday, so we went all out. I pulled on the bandana part of my costume, leaving the house with my keys and phone in hand as I called out a quick goodbye to Selina. I was excited to see what everyone else was. As a rule, none of us told each other what we would be, no matter how excited about it we were. I decided to go as an assassin, as if my normal life didn't have enough of that nonsense. Honestly, with how well my costume turned out, I could use it as an actual suit if I decided to ditch the Black Cat mantle.
Unlike normally, I didn't go to collect Thomas from the coffee shop. We were all taking the whole secrecy thing seriously, so I just went straight to school. The group agreed to meet underneath one of the trees near the front steps, and when I got there, Alex and Gabe were already waiting. Alex was wearing a black hoodie and jeans, black eyeliner smudged under his eyes. Gabe, on the other hand, was dressed in an obnoxious purple prince costume. "Alright, so we've got Anxiety and a purple dipshit here," I joked as I walked up, my voice slightly muffled by the bandana.
"Woah, holy shit, that looks so good," Gabe said, mouth dropping open. "You walked here in that?!"
"Yeah," I laughed, pulling the bandana down from over my mouth. "It's hot as hell in here and I regret not asking Selina to use her car."
"You described Gabe's costume pretty spot-on, though," Alex laughed.
"Shut the fuck up, I look better than you could ever dream of looking," Gabe shot back with a glare.
"He's got you there, Alex," I shrugged. "Any sign of the others?"
"Nope, not yet," Gabe replied. "I'm seriously glad the school let us do our costumes."
"Yeah, normally they have a stick up their ass," Alex said. "Hey, I spy a Jaydon!"
"Is that fucker just wearing his jersey?" Gabe asked, looking in Jaydon's direction. I followed his gaze, and, sure enough, Jaydon was just wearing his GA basketball jersey.
"That doesn't fucking count!" I argued as soon as Jaydon was within earshot.
"The fuck you mean? It's a costume," Jaydon shot back as he walked up to the group. "Nice costumes, by the way."
"He's probably being a good basketball player for Halloween," Gabe snarked.
"Nope, that's too unrealistic," I immediately took my shot. Jaydon just flipped me off, deciding not to defend his shit idea of a costume anymore. "Alright, so that's four of us down, three more to go. Are we gonna take guesses on what everyone's going as?"
