Chapter Seventeen: Finally Got Revenge, With A Cost

I was doing my best job of running, because my lag is still messed up. I ran in till I found the highway. They were too far gone. I was not giving up though. I ran up a head and looked for a bike and a black car. Nothing came up. I ran a heard a little more, nothing. I did it again and again, before I found Colin chasing a black car. I saw them get off a empty exit. I ran onto the freeway and ran for the exit. I ran straight for the black car.

I ran past Colin. He looked at my lag. I totally forgot about my injured lag. I looked at it and started to feel pain again. I tripped and fell over. Any car behind of me stopped suddenly. Colin stopped and ran off the bike to me. I tried to stand but I couldn't. It should have healed by now. Colin came over and picked me up. He carried me to the bike and put me on it. He got on himself and started to follow them again. Colin dug something out of his pocket. It was blood.

"Remember tear blood heals people, even vampires" he said. Sorry if I never mentioned it I forgot. I opened it and rubbed it on my wounded leg. It healed right away.

"Thank you." I said. We came up to them and I jumped onto the car. I gripped the sides, to hold on. Once I did that, I broke through one of the windows. They screamed and slid right into a ditch. I walked over to them and ripped the car door clean off. I picked up Emma by the throat. She gagged and tried to fight.

"Please don't do this. We known you for fourteen years, please." Victoria begged. She was right but I don't care and the bloodlust already kicked in. I let go of Emma's throat and walked to the other side of the car. I ripped that door off and grabbed Victoria by the arm. She spinned around and held a crucifix up.

She held it up to my face. I pretended to be scared and backed away. She had a smirk on her face. Then, I grabbed it out of her hand and spun her around. I kicked her in the stomach and she fell to the floor. I lit the crucifix on fire and threw it on the ground. I picked her up and spun her around, so her back was to my chest.

"I'm sorry it had to end like this." I said and bit her and killed her. I dropped her on the ground and walked away. I didn't know that Emma was right behind me. She took something sharp and impaled me through the heart. She took it out and I fell to the floor. I was trying to get up but nothing worked. I saw Colin kill Emma, through my blurry vision. The last thing I remembered was Colin running over to me before I died, or passed out.
