The Barrier

Seth's P.O.V

After the girls parents gave me the information I needed, I started after her. I was more than happy to pick up her scent, instead of her parents stench of raw meat.

I toyed with her in the forest watching her pant and run was adorable, I threw copies of myself in all directions slowing her down causing her to whimper. I was impressed when she had made it into the fields, after awhile I lost her in them but I heard her before I saw her. She had made it to a house she was incredibly fast for a human, practically breaking the wood with her fist she began crying names loudly.

I pulled her back before anyone came out, slamming my teeth into the soft of her neck I nearly lost myself in the irresistible taste.

 She tasted as I imagined. Sweet, salty and satisfying.

My dinner was quickly interrupted, by a shovel to the head. It actually hurt a bit, the attacker smelled of death and rotted animals. I would have tried a taste if I wasn't so repulsed by her. I should have snapped her neck, I would have snapped her neck, if we weren't outside what I'm assuming was her house. By her stench it was obviously this was her home and she was damned, a child of her age had to have guardians in that house.

I don't need rivals after missing twenty years of feeding.

The Barrier

"Good evening sir," A very hot woman typed away at her computer, not even glancing at me. She had light grey eyes that could be easily mistaken for as blue, long chocolately brown hair, and curved body.

"Welcome to the fourth barrier," She mumbled with fake enthusiasm. Finishing whatever she was typing she looked up at me, and stopped all movement.

"Good evening," I replied smiling

"Are you signing up, or in?" She whispered, preceding to pretend to be busy with the computer.

"Up," I leaned closer over the desk, getting a closer look at her face. Her skin was silky and her lips plush.

"Full name?"

"Seth," I paused "Lucas?"

"Age?"

"Take your best guess, sweetheart" I whispered, we were so close only she heard.

She thought a moment, typing something in the computer with a smile shaking her head.

"One moment, please."

The only sound in the lobby was the beeping of the computer, I took this time to study the Barrier map. Just like the butchering couple said, everythings here.

"Brother?" A mature manly voice asked.

"You must have me mistaken for someone else," I sighed can't I just not be noticed for the rest of the nihgt "I have no sib-"

A man with dark brown hair slicked to the back and dark eyes I remeber always changed color and could never be named, "-Lings" I frowned. Where do I know those eyes? This man was smirking devilishly at me from a elevator and it finally came to me who he was. 

"Jess?" I offered.

His eyes grew wide, he rubbed his chest and looked at his hands.

"Last time I checked" He sighed in relief with a playful laugh, he looked younger and stronger than before. What has changed since I've been gone?

"Jess, its been long" I extended a hand.

"Too long," he said embracing me in a tight hug

"Ah, Mr. Alexander you and Mr.Lucas are family?" The lady behind the desk asked, I had forgotten the tempting woman was still there.

 Her thoughts were so powerful I heard them without trying.

'They are so beautiful Seth must be royals as well wait till Lizzy hears about this!'

Jess tightened his grip around my shoulders

'I got this' He directed at me with a wink.

"No, a shame I know, were close enough to be" He smiled tilting his head to the side

"Indeed," I added awkwadly running a hand through my hair.

She nodded, loving every moment of this Jess released my shoulders, with a evil glint in his eyes directed at the girl this time,

"Margert." She jumped as he said her name.

"S-sir?"

"Give this man a key to my room," He looked to me now his playful expression fully gone "Come up when your ready." He whispered in my ear, making his way to the elevator.

"No rush but, remember we have much to discuss." He smashed his finger to his lips with a wink.

 "Okay, I'll be just a moment." I snuck a glance at the woman "I have business to attend to" he nodded.

"Bye Margert,"

"Bye, your highness!" She stood, bowing finally reaching the elevator. He eyed her licking his lips accidentally, he smiled sheepishly when I caught him but was shut off by metal doors.

Margert P.O.V

'Keys, Keys, Keys?'

Than I remembered, I gave them to Elizabeth, who put them on the desk when she was given paperwork! They got mixed into a wod of papers.

'Lizzy really needs to keep this desk clean its inappropriate and unprofessional!'

The dark haired boy -Man- leaned forward onto the computer, he'd been doing it for awhile now but I didn't mention it, I thought maybe he was tired and needed to relax but his eyes were gliding all over my body and face.

He came forward so fast when I reached to get the keys our foreheads touched, our hands met I fell out my chair shooting back away from him.

'I picked the wrong day to where a pencil skirt'

"Please calm yourself little butterfly"

He giggled, giving a full mouth smile. A perfect full mouth smile.

"Oh sorry, I-I'm calm you just scared me!"

He played with the weight of the keys in his hands.

"Nothing to be scared of,"

"I see that now!"

"Margert?"

"Y-yes?"

"I want to enjoy your company til morning your very" He paused "beautiful"

He smiled dreamily, I felt my cheeks go two shades darker as I nodded.HIs hand guided me around the desk next to him.

Nicely built

"In return I only ask for one thing"

"Y-yes?"

He took my hand in his, spun me around pressing my back to his chest his lips brushed against my ear.

"Your forgiveness, of course!" He whispered, biting the soft of my cheek and ear. The constant pain felt lovely I knew his kind could inflick much more pain.

"Yes," I replied

Sweet sweet pain, hopefully not the last.  

"It definitely won't be"
