Sunset West side Hotel

Silk,

silk covers stirred on my body, Although I wasn't moving, moon light shined in on my face.

I specifically remember closing those

A heavy breeze blew the curtain to the bed, brushing my face. I sat up fully aware of the figure on the balcony, in the moon light stood a majestic figure I felt an urge to be near her. Her hair long blonde, and layered to her waist. She leaned slightly over the balcony towards the moon light, she wanted to reach out and jump in she was giggling to herself, as if proud of how close she got.

 Each time she gets closer

"The moon is the best thing next to the sun!"

I was magically next too her, she moved closer. Clinging to me lacing our arms, cupping my calming my muscles. Her hair clung to our waists and shoulders.

"The sun isn't gone it's just on the other side of the moon, it never sets its just disgusted  by us. "The Damned."" She hand qouted  "The sun just wants to see other wonderful mortal faces, not the pained, sick, twisted faces of light followers."

She smiled sadly to the moon, as she always does.

"Than why is there the moon?" a smirk grew on my face.

Her answer always stayed the same, "because!" She growled flicking my forehead. "The sun doesn't want to punish the last mortals!" Her face soften as she moved her gaze back to the moon, "So it gives them enough light to make it to the light!" She went silent for a moment, than she smiled. "If that makes sense, does it?" She asked

I nodded

It did it always did

"If the sun hates us so much, why does it give us the time of night?" I challanged.

She always said the same thing every night, and always she answers the same way. She thought a moment tapping her chin squinting.

"I don't know." She answered finally, I didn't exspect her to answer I never did. I exspected her to fade away into the surrounding darkness, But she answered for the first time.

"I suppose, the sun feels bad for its fallen children?" She layed her head on my shoulder, feeling this little contact from her made me feel- A emotion.

"Makes sense?" She asked standing me straight putting her hands on my shoulders my hands automatically found its way to her waist. Her lips came to mine as we fell off the balcony, and onto my bed.
