Don't let me be the last to know. Part 29-

Lizzie Pov-

My tears carried on flowing, even though it was the day after. Did he mean everything he said? Of course he did or he wouldn't have said it! Literally, it felt like my heart had shattered.

Nathan was the man I loved, never would I mean to hurt him. But I guess he didn't care. He told me everything he said wasn't true, that he wished he had left me to Zayn. 

My heart had officially broken. It had broken far worse than when Zayn cheated on me. And the pain it caused me was a lot worse than when Zayn was beating me. 

Nathan's face flashed in my head. The way his smile instantly warmed me. They way his eyes twinkled when he looked at me. And the way electricity pulsed through my body whenever he kissed me.

But he doesn't love me; that was the worse part.

''C'mon Lizzie, let's make you feel better!'' Lucy smiled, standing in front of me. ''How?'' I sobbed, looking up at her. She handed me another tissue so I used it to wipe my eyes. ''First of all, stop crying.''

I did as she said, and sort of composed myself. ''Now, make yourself look amazing and let me take you out with the boys.'' She winked. ''I can't look amazing Lucy, I feel awful!'' I moaned at her. ''Fine, I'll make you look amazing.'' She said.

I rolled my eyes and groaned but she just laughed and got on with it. She sat me in front of the mirror and started to heat up the curlers. Singing along to the radio, she loosely curled my hair and put on my make up. I had to admit, I was starting to look and feel better! 

Lucy scanned all through my wardrobe and finally picked me a dress. ''Here, put this on whilst I get ready!'' She ordered. I nodded and she walked out. After putting on my dress, I looked in the mirror.

My bruising was slowly fading away which made me feel better.

And I looked healthier! 

I was wearing a black dress that clung to me, showing my figure. That's probably why Lucy chose it. Whereas she seemed to be wearing a purple one that made her look amazing!

The doorbell rang and I heard Lucy running to answer it. ''Why is he here?'' She spat. I then realised, Nathan must have come. ''That's not nice considering he's your cousin.'' Jay laughed slightly. ''But he's megally upset my best friend, I'm not going to love him am I?'' She replied. ''She'll get over it!'' Nathan huffed.

That was it, I heard Tom mumbling to him.

But now, I had to show him I wasn't bothered. I had to show him that I could move on.

Grabbing my clutch, I walked out of my room and down the hall way. Eyes were all on me as I walked into the living room. ''Lizzie, you look beautiful!'' Tom smiled. I smiled back and hugged him.

And then all the others apart from Nathan.

''How are you guys?'' I asked them. ''We're good! How are you?'' Max responded. ''I'm good thanks, ready to party?'' ''Always!'' Siva laughed. I giggled in return. 

''Oh please!'' Nathan grumbled. ''Did you say something?'' I questioned. ''No.'' He snapped. Looking away, I noticed him staring at me.

The others left the room to start early drinking.

''Whatever your trying to do, just stop it.'' Nathan spat. ''I'm not trying to do anything, I just want to have a good time.'' I simply replied. ''Pulling Tom then?'' He smirked. ''I already have done.'' I shot back. The smirk on his face was wiped of straight away.

''He doesn't deserve you.'' Nathan whispered. ''What and you do?'' I asked. ''Well yeah.'' He replied. ''Who said I had forgiven you?'' He shot me evils. ''I don't need to be forgiven, I was right.'' 

Tom linked my arm, after appearing back in the room. He took me away from Nathan and we all set off into town. Nathan's glare was deepening by the second; I could feel his eyes on both me and Tom who were walking together, closely.

I could see this night becoming rather interesting. Like a mini war between me and Nathan.

I liked the idea of it really. I could get my own back...

Tonight was gonna be fun!
