Chapter 17

                      I made sure she left and got out the water as quickly as possible. I walked to where Harry set down the black backpack at, I saw a towel and dried myself off and changed quickly I was at the point to not give two flying shits if Harry saw or not. I sat on the rock to put my shoes on I didn't realize he was standing right in front of me. I let out a long quite sigh and thought of the words before I said them. "Look Harry, I'm sorry I ruined this beautiful moment, It's my fault. I kind of knew this was gonna happen soon or later." Harry never responded but instead he gave a quick peck on the lips. I swear to God this boy can anybody's day just by giving him a quick glance. Once Harry finished changing we walked back together to the car.

As soon Harry started the engine he asked, "So that lady..Samantha? Are you afraid of her?" I laughed never in a million years would I be scared of some lady I the council. "No, she's just jealous that I'm spending way to much time with a handsome human." He smiled at my response , don't even get me started on those dimples. " I'm all yours. Does she have a background as well?" He asked. " It's time to teach you some vampire history. Not all vampires are turned, while some are born with vampire in there system. Only 10% people in the council were born/raised by vampire parents." I explained to him. " Do you wanna know something about her?" I faced him to see his response and he gave a slight nod. " There's a rumor that she was actually raised by vampire parents and that she will sneak out to se human lover that her parents found about it that her father set it all up on night, he waited for her to arrive so he ripped his heart out and made her swallow it her whole. End of story." I can tell he had a gruesome face well hey it's just a rumor.

Harry dropped me home and we said our goodbyes , I walked in and screamed ' I'm home'. V came rushing downstairs, " The council called earlier to tell you when you came back to go have a word with them. Jem what did you do?" I ignored her and ran upstairs to the bathroom thank god its in my room. I locked myself in and stripped off my clothes till I was fully naked. I hopped in the shower washing everything with warm water well its mostly cold water. I got out and changed into some black leggings and a white cropped top, I hurried downstairs and into the car.

I arrived and I entered through these big heavy oak doors, and walked into there so what called 'office' they were all sitting in big like thrown chairs. In front of them was a long stretched table and I took a seat across from them. " Jem, we all know you really don't want to be here," Eric said. I always hated Eric he had long dark brown hair and the most rarest shade of gray. " I'd rather get hanged on second thought get my heart ripped out of my chest" I said while I rolled my eyes. " Ah but you didn't let me finish. How long have you been seeing this human." He said. " It's like if its you God damn business." I spit out. " Jem, what we're gonna tell you its not an option its a order," He takes a long pause to chose what words to say. " Either leave Harry or have his heart ripped out in front of your face. It's not your choice?" After he said that I bolted out the chair. " Are you fucking kidding me? Why do you have to do this to me out of all the people in this building? Can't you see that I love him! He understands me, he's the key to my happiness." I said. " You love him? What the hell do you know about love? Can't you put it in your stupid little head that he knows what we are and if others human find out they'll have all of us on deaths game," she took a long pause but continued. " It'll be the 1800's all over again." She finished. I took a deep breath and said "I'll leave him then you can erase every trace that I was apart of his life." That's all the words that just popped up in my head but I can't trust them I've been here for to long. " Alright then you'll have three days to do it" Eric said. I couldn't find the words so I just nodded. I walked out strong to afraid to crumble , but the only question that's crossing my mind is how am I gonna tell Harry?
