Chapter 14

*Jakes P.O.V*
Tessa has been acting weird lately. She keeps going out and coming back hours later. She has started wearing hats. I feel like she's cheating on me but I don't know for sure. I've put a tracker on her car and she keeps going out to town parking her car in the parking lot so I don't know exactly where she goes. I want to follow her but I can't. I get to busy. She goes out about 11 and comes out at about 2. When she goes we often have Team nearing to try and find out what she is up to.

*3 weeks later*
*Tessa's P.O.V*
It has been 3 weeks since I found out I have cancer. Every two days I go to the hospital. I'm pretty sure Team 10 are on to me. Pieces of my hair fall out now I have to wear hats to cover it up. Team 10 normally try talk to me but I just ignore them. I got to chemotherapy to get treated.
*Anthony's P.O.V*
We were all being stupid and having fun using the spin wheel. When I mean all I mean everyone on Team 10 apart from Tessa she was sat eating a salad and on her phone. We were playing truth or dare when Chance dares me to take off Tessa's Beanie hat. I didn't want to but we were blogging and Jake said he would let me plug whatever I wanted. I walked over to Tessa, luckily she didn't notice me. I pinched the top of her hat. I grabbed it and ran. When all gasped.
Team 10:"*Gasp*"
Tessa:" what the flip dude, your an idiot!"
Tessa shouted at me with tears forming in her eyes. We were still in shock at the fact that she hade hardly Any hair. We stood there for about 10 seconds until Erika broke the silence.
Erika;" oh my god Tess what happened"
Tessa;"nothing I just shaved my head and donated my hair for people affected by cancer"
Chance;"why did you shave your head yuh loved your hair"
Erika;" yeah you love your hair."
Tessa;"I know I love my hair. Maybe I didn't have a choice." Tessa shouted again and burst out crying. Jake dropped is camera and ran to cuddle. She pushed him a away and sat on the couch. We sat around her. It was silent at first until she started speaking.
*Tessa's P.O.V*
Tessa;" when I was Vomiting I was getting concerned about myself so I went to the doctors. When I got to the doctors they said I was fine. As I was walking out I saw a woman with cancer she had no hair. It made me want to help."
Jake;" aw that's a lovely thing to do"
Tessa;" I found a tracker on my car and felt I was being stalked. I was walking in a back alley and was mugged. My hair was shaved and my things were taken." I felt bad I had just told a blatant lie to my Team 10 family. They were shocked. I burst out in tears.
Chance;" Tessa if you were mugged you would have told us or you would have called the police. That's not actually what happens was it"
Jake;"Chance, how could you say that I can't believe you man."
Tessa;"No Chance is right. I'm a lying, dying girl. I have.... I have...I have...."
Jake;" You have, you have. What what have you got" Jake started raising his voice mad stood up.
Tessa;" you know what you guys wouldn't care anyways" I stormed up to my room and slammed the door. I had cancer and needed a calm place to stay. I packed a bag and walked downstairs. They were all sat talking. As soon as I got there they all stared at me. I had changed into a Tessa Brooks hoodie and a Nike pair of joggers.
Jake;"babe where are you going"
Tessa;"Away from here"
Jake;"Why."
Tessa;"... Because I have kidney cancer"
They all gasped and I started to tear up. Erika hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe. They all said they were sorry. Apart from Jake he was in he corner on his own. I could tell he wasn't coping well. I was walking over to him when he stood up and turned around. His eyes were red. He was trying Not to cry.
Jake;" How long have you known?"
Tessa;"Since I went to the doctors about 3 weeks ago. Why?"
Jake;"Why. Why. Why didn't you tell me." He yelled as I backed up.
Tessa;"I haven't told anyone. Not even my mum knows. I'm scared okay. I'm 17 and I could die. I never thought my life would be this short. Jake I'm sorry okay" at this point he other lot of Team 10 had backed up into a corner because me and Jake were shouting really loud.
Jake;" Tessa you're dying and you couldn't even be bothered to tell me. I'm your boyfriend."
Tessa;" Jake. Like I said my mum didn't even know. She is my mum."
Jake;" I guess you can say goodbye to our relationship."
Tessa;" Oh so your gonna break up with me for not telling you I'm dying."
Jake;"not just that. I don't want to keep arguing with you okay. We have had numerous fights with the two months we have been together."
Tessa;" Jake I can't fucking believe you. You're a fucking TWAT!"I screamed at him and punched his face. He fell to the ground as I started to continually punch and slap him. Anthony and Chance hold me back as I struggle to escape there grip. Nick walks over to Jake trying to stop him from punching me back.
Tessa;"Let go of me know!" Once again I screamed, kicking my legs and trying to loosen my arms.
Anthony;" No. Not until you calm down."
Tessa;"well you'll be here a long time." I say calming down slightly. Then my phone rings and it comes up jut as babes. Jake looks really angry and nearly escapes nicks arms. Kade, Nathan and Chad help nick keep him back. Chance and Anthony look at each other and let me go.
*Tessa and babes conversation*
Tessa;Hey babe!
Babes;hey how are you.
Tessa:good you
Babes; yeah I'm good but you don't sound it.
Tessa puts the phone on loud speaker so the other members can hear.
Tessa; yeah I'm fine. Um is it okay if I can stay round yours. Please.
Babes; yeah of course. I'll go out and get the ice cream and chocolate know yeah.
Tessa;" how did you know I just went through a breakup.
Babes; you can tell in your voice.
Tessa; yeah okay I'll be round at 8. Sound good.
Babes; yeah. Perfect.
Tessa; okay bye Teela.
Babes;" bye t.
