Princess Affair

The Beginning

Hi, I'm just your normal typical girl.
Or should I say, princess.

I am Princess Heidi and I live in a beautiful palace filled with all the riches you could imagine and you must think, 'wow I'm living the greatest life.'

Your wrong.

As a princess there always comes many duties and I worked my butt off being the perfect princess to impress everyone around the globe but I never felt as much pressure as I am feeling now. It's all because of one thing, marriage. I know this should be easy but for some reason I just can't take it.

Just picture it, hundreds of men trying to just get under your gown and have a chance to witness your 'inner beauty', it's gross. Sure I've met some good men, hell I've met a lot of good men who like me for me but I can't seem to picture getting married to them.

Well here I am now trying to meet some more male guests at another one of our banquets. My future awaits...

"Your future awaits darling, have fun out there! I've seen plenty of handsome men there-ooooh you will love them." Queen Klasset, my mother, says to me.

"Yes mother you told me many times"
My maid, Marisse, helps me get dressed for the occasion before I get downstairs and face the ugly stares of the lustful men. My mother leaves the room for me to get changed.

"Do you think you will find the one today Heidi?" Marisse asks me as she ties the knots at the back of my gown.

"I'm not sure, I mean, I hope so, my parents would love that. My brother too I suppose," I reply. Sometimes I don't know what to do with my brother. Alik is 3 years older than me and he acts like a king to me. He just doesn't seem to care about me as much as he used to.

I frown and Marisse seems to notice. "Hey, Alik loves you, don't forget that. I mean trust me, he literally just had another one of those one night flings with me the other day. He talks to me about you all the time."

"Wait WHAT! Oh my goodness I swear are you guys a thing now? You guys sleep with each other quite often nowadays." My brother goes to clubs now that he's 'all grown up' but all he ever does is sleep with random women, until Marisse of course. She happened to run into him at one of his parties and it just happened. Now it won't seem to stop.

"Who knew I could get even more involved in your life." She giggles and I join her. Ever since I was born Marisse was like a sister to me. She was born a year before me and she was the daughter of my mothers maid, so it was only fitting for her to be my maid. As much as I dislike the idea of that, Marisse insists that this is for the best and it's all good.

My mom enters the room again, "My, my, look at you baby, all grown up. Have fun down there." She practically pushes me out the door and onto the stairs leading me to the banquet. Marisse quickly steps out and waves pitifully and I give her a small smile reminding her it's all going to be okay.
