Revenge at the Point of the Knife

Ash, at the age of 14 finally came home from his journey with Dawn and Brock for a second time as he loved the Sinnoh region the first time, and thought it would be fun to go back. He had decided to stay home for a year  because he missed his mother and hometown badly. But he was surprising his mom and everyone else. He had stopped to pick some flowers for his mom as a present. He walked over a hill and there was his home, Pallet town. He looked at Pikachu and smiled,"Race you to the mailbox." And he took off running. But of course he couldn't outrun Pikachu.
"Haha!! I beat you!" Pikachu said smirking
"Oh shut up" Ash said back to his friend. Ash had practiced using his aura so he could talk with Pikachu and his other Pokémon.
"Wow it's been forever.." Ash said as he looked at his house. His mother had taken great care of it like always.
"Ready Pikachu?" Ash asked. Pikachu simply nodded and jump on Ash's shoulder. Ash walked up to the the front door and took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Just a minute!!"
Ash heard his mother say.
'I hope she's happy to see me home.'
Ash snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the lock being unlocked. He quickly put the bouquet of flowers in front of his chest. The door opened and there stood his mom. She was looking at the floor wiping her hand off on an apron.
"Sorry I don't look the best I was-" Delia cut off mid sentence for her son was right in front of her.
"Ash..." Delia ran at him and hugged him. Ash hugged her back. They stayed like that for at least 10 minutes.
"W-when did you come back?!?!? Why didn't you call!? I could have made us a special dinner!!" Ash's mom started asking questions right away.
"I just got back today, I wanted it to be a surprise for your birthday...happy birthday mom."

Ok, ok. Before you go crazy telling me that it's not actually Delias birthday. Let me have my fun. This is also the longest chapter I have written!! I am so proud of myself. If you notice any grammar/spelling errors please let me know. But I'm going to bed now, so have a great day/night!!
