"Sapph," Ed whined beside me from his desk, "How does this make any sense to you?"

We were sat in our Algebra 3 class and I'm not even sure why Ed took Algebra 3, he is terrible at math.

"Edmon Craft be quiet," Karmen grumbled quickly writing something down on her sheet of homework, "I can't focus when all I hear is your complaints. If you can't do the work you shouldn't have taken the class."

"Sorry, Kar," Ed apologized before returning to his homework, "It's not like we need the education though. Our jobs are already lined up for us." Karmen and Edmon were the next Beta and Gamma of the Pacific North Pack. Their jobs had been laid out for them from their birth. For me myself personally it was a lot harder than that, I was born a rogue with out a pack. Sure my two best friends were in a pack, but the school was in neutral territory and shared my three packs and the rogues that lived in the neutral territory.

"Anything exciting happening this week with the pack?" I asked shutting my book.

"Prince Sawyer and Prince Saylor are coming tomorrow," Karmen answered shutting her book as well. Ed still had his book open trying to figure out his last problem while chewing on the cap of his pen.

"Lucky you guys," I laughed. Everyone knew who Sawyer and Saylor were. They were the identical twin princes. Sons of Queen Olive and King Brad Anderson.

"Ugh, I can't wait until I have to travel to the castle every year," Karmen complained.

"I got it," Edmon yelled slamming his book closed.

"Took ya long enough," I laughed at him.

He glared at me across the table. "Sapph, the twins are coming to check out the school tomorrow and Kar and I are supposed to spend the day with them."

"And you know what that means," Kar picked up where Ed left off.

"I have to spend the day with them," I mumbled under my breath knowing that Edmon and Karmen would hear me. The three of us had our schedules set up so that all of our classes would be together.

"We're sorry," Karmen muttered before the final bell of the day rung releasing us from class.

I walked down the hallway, grabbing my backpack out of my locker before heading outside of the school. I walked down the sidewalk and climbed into the passenger seat of my dads truck.

"Have a good day?" Dad asked as I placed my bag on the floor boards that ran beneath my feet. My parents were rogues, so that made me a rogue as well.

"Ya," I answered watched as we passed the rows houses until Dad pulled into our two story house. I climbed out of the truck and headed through the garage into the kitchen. I slipped off my Vans before hanging my backpack on the metal hook next to the door.

I went to the kitchen grabbing a roll of half eaten salties and sat on the couch in living room, opening my laptop that I had left on the coffee table that morning. I sat on the couch for next two hours doing completely useless time-consuming activities on my computer until my mother came home.

"Phira, would you be a darling and start boiling the water for the macaroni?" She asked walking through the living room and diapering up the staircase.

"Ya, sure," I said setting my laptop down and walking into the kitchen. I grabbed a pot and filled it with water and set it on the burner. I turned the burner on and poured a little salt into the water. "Done!" I yelled before returning to the couch.

"Thank you, Sapphira," Mom said walking down the stairs and into the kitchen.
