After the movie night, Niall had started to clean up. He started clearing out Saphira's stuff. He would send it to her mother and father in a few weeks, seeing as it would take him that long to get all of it. He turned on some music as he cleaned.
It didn't take long for one of Saphira's favorite bands to start playing. He smiled at the familiar beat of the song 'Designed To Kill' by Blood On The Dance Floor. He sang along, as he put Saphira's clothes into a box. He stopped as he picked up his 'Free Hugs' T-shirt. He took a slight breath, knowing that she had loved it. She used to wear it around the flat, dancing to a song in her head. He smiled slightly at the memory. He missed her. He would never get over this pain in his chest. He couldn't.
He carefully put the T-shirt in the box, closing his eyes as he did. He opened them, not seeing the flat but Saphira.
"Niall, come dance with me." She laughed, her America accent slowly turning British. He grinned, even though he knew it was just a dream.
"I'm coming Princess." He said softly, walking over to her. He wrapped his arms around her. As he did, however, her expression become one of fear and shock.
"Niall." She screamed out, collapsing on the floor. The same way they had found her when she had died.
He sank down beside her, tears streaming down his face. "Saph... Princess, please. Come back." He said softly, taking her hand in hers. "I love you."
But she could never responded. She slowly started to dissolve into nothing. Niall tried to grab her, make her stay. It didn't work though. "Saphira." He cried out, waking up suddenly.
He looked around the flat. He was in his bedroom, the box of clothes on the floor and Liam in the doorway.
"Niall? What happened?" He asked, fear in his voice as his best friend started sobbing uncontrollably.
"I want to see her Li." He cried. "I want to hold her again." He said, burying his face in his hands.
Liam walked over and wrapped Niall in a hug. "Shh. It's all gonna be alright Niall." He promised her. "You'll see her again one day." He promised her.
"No. I want to see her now!" Niall cried, thrashing around violently. "Let me see her!"
"Niall." Liam said, a little louder. "Calm down. There's nothing you can do. She wouldn't want this! You acting like a little kid all because of her."
"You didn't know her Liam!" Niall shouted. "You don't know me! Get out now!" He said, pushing Liam out of his bed as he sobbed.
Liam sighed but left the room. He didn't know what to do about his friend. What could he do if all he wanted was to see the girl he had loved? The same girl who was dead.
Alone, in his bedroom Niall grabbed a notebook and pen.
'Dear Saphira,
I want to see you Princess. I'm scared of this, life without you. I thought my life was perfect and than I met you. Princess, you are my life. You were my life and now you're gone. What am I supposed to do? All I want to do is hold you, you used to make everything so much better my lovely Princess.
I think I'm going to end it. I know you wouldn't want that, but I also know you'd do the same if the situation was switched. I love you Saph! I want to be by your side no matter what.
I should've never let you stay at home. Management said I could bring you. But you insisted that you just wanted to stay at home. You didn't what to travel at the moment. All you wanted was for me to have fun and be safe.
I should've asked you sooner. I wanted to marry you. I wanted to be your last first kiss. My love, why aren't you here with me? Why must fate keep us apart? We were like Romeo and Juliet. And I need to make things right love.
I'm coming for you Juliet. I'm coming.
Love forever,
Niall'
Niall sighed to himself, forming a plan as he did. He knew what needed to be done. He knew what was good for him. It had been months since she'd died and he was feeling more lost and afraid than ever before. He was afraid of Harry, of Zayn, of Louis, of Liam, of Paul, of his family, of management, of everything.
This was what he had become without his lovely Princess. The girl who got tons of hate, but just responded by calling the person 'Lovelie♥' and never once yelling at them or being rude. Kill them with kindness, she had always said. Kill them with kindness.
