He searched for the whole night and most of the next day but he couldn't find her. Her scent had softened, so it was harder for him to keep track of her.
He went back to his home until tracking her would become easier. Plus, he had to recuperate to be in the greatest conditions when searching. Deep in his heart, worry swam through the caverns and thrashed around in its chambers.
On the outside he wouldn't show how much the girl meant to him, or how much he cared for her. On the inside, however, thoughts of her continually consumed him. It was just that; he had been alone for so long and had gotten used to the loneliness that was his life. Being undead wasn't like people would assume - it could tax on the mind and body.
To others he was cold and callous; to her he was affectionate and loving. That was why he had fulfilled her request of becoming like him. Now she was missing, and he had to find her quick.
It wasn't the people she attacked that he was scared for; he didn't care for that at all. The only thing he feared was what she would do to herself.
He crossed the threshold of his home, that stood on top of a hill, and was feared by many; no one would dare to venture on these grounds. Meaning it left him undisturbed until (y/n) braved the place and came into his world. He shrugged off his coat and handed it to his sole butler.
"Sir, you still haven't found her?" the male asked, hanging up his master's coat.
"No." Yugyeom sighed and poured himself a drink from the bar in his spacious living room. "I'll continue searching soon. I just hope she isn't wounded."

Sounds of traffic and countless footsteps entered the alleyway and echoed off the dirty brick walls.
The smell of blood emitted from the entranceway and tainted the senses of everyone who passed. No one wanted to be the person who entered the alleyway to check out what was causing the smell, so they hurried to wherever it was they were going to, initially.
They all minded their own business, failing to notice the long hair sprawled out on the cold, dank ground, and the body that swam in a puddle of blood - you wouldn't be able to tell if it was theirs or someone else's.
Breathing heavily, stomach now satisfied and crimson liquid slipping past equally red lips, the young girl, (y/n), laid out on the ground amidst the blood and smiled in her unconscious state.
One person's face went through her mind as she lay there.
Yugyeom's.
