Chapter 10

I got up and showered. I put on shorts and a sweater. It was raining out well pouring. I put on

flip flops and put my hair into a bun. I walked down to get the mail since it's always my job to get

it. I saw Hayes getting into the car. He wouldn't stop staring I felt weird. I ran inside but someone

stopped me. "It's just me" Nash said. "Oh " was all I could say. "Hayes told me what happened

he can be a brat in front of his friends" "yea he forgot about me to" Hayes, the name just hurt me.

"Well I'm sorry he really did like you he would mumble your name in his sleep but he needs

to know that this isn't ok " "so what are you tell me that he likes me and I should forgive him or

he's an ass and I shouldn't." "Both" he said and walked away. I went inside. "Sweets, it's been

a while" my dad said. I ran and hugged him. "How about a daddy daughter day" he said. "I'd

love one just don't call it that" "ok deal we can go out to eat for breakfast then the mall because

we need house supplies and you can get clothes while I do that and then I have a surprise for you"

"Ok" we both walked outside and Nash waved goodbye and skylynn yelled "bye" at the top

of her lungs.

We went out and got breakfast at a small little diner. Then we went shopping and I got new

shoes and hair stuff. Then I got some perfumes and new makeup. I met up with my dad and it

was only 11:12 we went upstairs to the food court and got some Chinese food. I was having fun

with my dad. But it's always the same he's gone for a week then he buys me a bunch of stuff he

thinks I like it but I hate it he's never around when I need him. I've seen Hayes more than him

This month.

"Ok what's the surprise" "let's go it's a long drive" we went to the car and the drive was only

10 minutes and it was only a movie place. We saw frozen. It was good I guess I'm not sure

What happened I was watching the people in front of me. We left and drove home it was almost

dinner time. When we got home I went upstairs I looked at my necklace from Hayes. It was perfect

but he ruined it. I looked at my calendar and only 2 weeks until school stared. I already had my

stuff and backpack. It's all from Massachusetts. I went outside and saw a rainbow. It reminded

me of Hayes the blue of his eyes and that's what the whole thing was pretty much made of.

Hayes pulled back in and waved. He was acting weird. He went Into his backyard. It was starting

to pour now. "Olivia" he said. "What" I answered. "Are you still mad. " "of coarse" I went inside.

He was crying it looked like but it was raining so I wouldn't know. Before Hayes acted like a

floob he texted me that he had a game today I watched him leave.

Dinner was good and I was bored so I watched Hayes' vines they were always funny. I got a call

from a number I didn't know.

Actually no Hayes was hurt in football because he slipped and he only wants to talk to you I know it's a lot to ask but do you wanna come down and see him

I hung up. He was hurt this was killing me. My dad was asleep because he has work tomorrow.

"Mom hays is at the hospital can we go see him it's important," "anything for you"

We left and I saw Elizabeth's car at the field. "Wait stop here" I said. Nash and skylynn were out

in the rain. "Need a ride" I said. "Actually ya our mom left with Hayes and I can't drive yet"

" ok and we have those seats that fold out into a booster seat." "Great because we are locked out

of the car. " Nash got in and was soaked. He buckled Skylynn in and we drove off, "what hospital"

I asked "oh I don't know the name but take a left at this red light and then we just drive straight

and it's there.
