It was in high school, when jimin found his first love, he was so fascinated by this boy with mint colored hair. Everything about him is just amazing to jimin. The way his gums show when he smiles, jimin loved his cat-shaped eyes and his pale white skin, everything about him just puts jimin in awe.
When jimin approached the boy he was a stuttering mess. His stuttering was too much that the boy asked 'what?' Right after jimin finished his 'sentence'. After jimin took a deep breath, he repeated his sentence, "would you like to be friends?"
Yoongi was never the kind of person who agrees when someone wants to befriend him, but this boy, this boy was something else. Yoongi found him rather different, in a good way.
They spent most of their free times together, they spend the weekends on either jimin's house or yoongi's, they spend the whole day watching and eating.
The day finally came, they finally confessed their feelings to each other.
It wasn't the best relationship, they had arguments and all those hardships that people in a relationship go to.
Graduation day, high school, after the ceremony there was a party at their friend's house, only close friends. They were all having a night to remember, by that i mean talking about the embarrassing things that had happened in high school.
"I'm gonna miss you snot bags." Jeonghan said as he leaned his head on his boyfriend's, seungcheol, shoulder.
"I'm so gonna miss laughing with you dimwits." Namjoon chuckled.
After the party they all departed, yoongi and jimin were walking home, they crossed the road but jimin's phone fell midway. Long story short, yoongi pushed jimin off of the road and he got hit instead.
"Yoongi! Yoongi-ah!" Jimin shouted as the nurses and doctor was rushing him towards a surgery room, "please. Please! Please stay with me! Yoongi-ah!" Jimin was sobbing, "i'm sorry sir, this is as far as you can go." The nurse warned him as they rushed yoongi to the room, "yoongi! Yoongi." Jimin fell on the floor as endless tears fell from his eyes.
"I'm sorry Mr. Park," the doctor lowered his head, jimin stood up from his seat which was next to jihoon, "what? Why are you apologizing? Where's yoongi?" Jimin asked as he sniffed, "i'm really sorry Mr. Park, but Mr. Min passed away." Jimin feels his heart ache, he didn't know what to do.
He just stared at the wall blankly after the doctor left, "hyung," chan said as he rubbed jimin's back, "i'm sorry jimin." Hoseok said as tears rolled down his eyes, everyone was crying but jimin was the one who broke it.
He rushed towards yoongis room and saw the nurses covering his face, "sir—" one of the nurse attempted to say something but jimin ran pass her, "yoongi. Yoongi, i'm here. Please don't leave me. Yoongi, we made promises remember? You said that after we graduate college you were gonna marry me. Yoongi, don't break your promise you idiot. Yoongi please don't leave me. Yoongi!" Jimin sobbed as he hugged yoongi's corpse.
It's been 4 years since the incident everyone kept intouch with each other. Jimin took an interest in art. As the others took interest in many things.
Jimin smiled as he continued painting.
He was broken inside, he's slowly recovering. Yoongi was his everything, yoongi's the only one he loves and that never changed. He still loved yoongi, no matter how many guys hitted on him, his heart was reserved for yoongi and yoongi only.
His friends walked in the room, trying to fit in the small room (there're like 24 in total, seventeen with bts lmao). Jin and jeonghan placed a hand on jimin's shoulders as they smiled, "that's a very beautiful painting jimin-ah." Jin complimented, "thanks, hyung." Jimin smiled. Jin looked over his shoulder to look at their friends as he smiled warmly at them and they returned the smile.
"Who did you paint jimin-ah?" Jeonghan asked.
"I painted a portrait of yoongi."
