I woke up early because today is the day that mom is gonna leave and I decided to do things I havent done for her in a long time.

Those includes cooking for breakfast and doing all chores.

Yes I i'll also spend time with her.

A year is long thinking about it frustrates me

I jogged down the stairs and went to the kitchen and decided to cook bacon and eggs for breakfast.

"Good thing the cooking ended well unlike the last one." A memory came into mind and I shrugged it off.

I heard mom's door open and close before I heard her say morning to me

We sat down and ate our breakfast.

"So, how's yoongi?"

She randomly asked.

"He's the best I could ask for"

She aprovingly smiled and nodded.

"He seems to be treating you right as what I am witnessing"

I almost choked on the bacon as she said those.

"He is treating me right ma"

I gave out a thumbs up and we laughed

Like the old family we had

We finished our food and I did the dishes since mom is getting ready for her flight in 2hrs.

My phone vibrated on the counter and before I picked it up my mom did

"You still call your dad "daddy?"

Yes I have my dads phone number but we never spoke

Bad terms.

But dad isnt the one calling...

Mom slowly gave it to me and I answered.

"Heyyyy yoongi" i slowly said

"Hey jagi"

I felt my cheeks heat up

"Why'd you call?"

I see my mom shooked from what she was hearing

I couldnt do anything I still havent replaced yoongi's callers ID.

"So when will your mom go abroad?"

"In like an hour or so from now, why?"

"Just asking."

"Welp have to go we have to catch the flight bye"

"Bye mwua" He made kissy noises before ending the call

Im scared to actually look at mom right now.

"Young lady. Explain"

"Look mom he changed his callers ID I just dont know when but I just realised" Half lie, half truth since I already knew but didnt change it.

Just forgot.

I can see the happiness in her eyes but they clearly were playing with me

"Lets go eomma your gonna be late for your flight"

I drove her there since our house was just an hr drive away from home

I placed her suitcases down and waved her goodbye
