Jimin sat on a tree branch, leaning against the trunk. It was a normal day for him, quietly suiting himself in his domain which was the forest where nature was strongest.

The forest feels different today he thought as he rummaged through his bag. Is something gonna happen?

The thing with Jimin was that he could sense the very feelings of Nature, and it served him good as it helped him stay away from insane people or the Dark Ones themselves. Jimin had a vague memory on how he ended up alone and how he was unable to talk except for garbled sounds he could produce. 

In his opinion, he could speak if he tried, but it was as if the very memory of shaping words and producing sound had been taken away. He also had no idea how his hair had ended up being light blonde,as if someone had dyed it.

His own life was a puzzle, and he hated the fact that he was trying to understand it all alone.

Suddenly, he picked up sound from far away, a sound only he could hear. Why? Because it was the sound of a deer being attacked. And for years, Jimin had not seen a normal human roam the forest without starving or getting hunted.

Jimin gathered his belongings and raised his hoodie that extended into a brown cape behind him as he jumped to a tree near him and ran along the thick branches before leaped onto another.

Some might think he was a squirrel from the speed he was going, not to forget the minimal sound he produced. But nature was on his side, and Jimin had no idea what he had done to receive such a gift.

His eyes gazed back for a moment, scanning behind him before the trees emitted sounds of urgency in his mind, telling him to keep going, so Jimin did. He kept on running and leaping, his wild heartbeat accompanying his steps as he tried to get as far away as possible.
