wow uh....this is really awkward

Soooo hey?? Is anyone even reading this? I mean, I have 300 reads but it still feels like an abandoned desert.

The last time I updated this book was on July. Holy shit. It's November and I'm not even going to do a full update.

And what I mean by that is, is that this will just be a work in progress. It's not close to done (well I guess it is) but I just had the sudden urge to upload something on my account. Oh, and by the way, if you've read my one shot book, don't worry, it will be updated soon. I've just been lacking motivation recently, but I have a lot of ideas.

Anyways, back to the art. What I want to show you today, is a work in progress redraw, of an eye I drew back in July 27th, 2016. Keep in mind that I found this photo on the internet, and I just recreated it.

Here's the original drawing that I drew:

I personally hate this. I drew this with a shitty mechanical pencil, and it took me about one hour. The shading is terrible, the crease is too high (in my opinion), you can still see the way I scribbled in the iris to make it look like a "shadow" or something, the  eyelashes are having a seizure, and this is just overall disgusting.

Here is the work in progress version of the redraw:

(sorry for the crap lighting)

This time, I've raised the iris a bit more, I've used a different shading method (Q-Tips/cotton swabs) and a variety of pencils. For the darkest shades, I'm using 8B, 6B, and 4B pencils, and for the lighter shades I'm using a 2B pencil and an H pencil.

I've still got a lot more to add in, but for now, I've finally updated.
