Akaashi's pov

He walked over to the door reluctantly for Bokuto to enter his house with the scent of toast in the air.

Akaashi took in Bokuto's appearance and took note of the scribbles on this arms still, proudly flaunting them off, like battle wounds to a warrior.

Seeing them made Akaashi pull his sleeves down even further then they already were and wiping his pants as if there was dust on them.

He built up the courage to strike up a conversation about his soul mate, asking if he got a reply yet.

"No, not yet. Hey Akaashi, what if they don't have arms and that way they haven't answered yet?" The thought of it made him laugh, only a little though.

"Bokuto-san, if they didn't have arms they wouldn't be able to reply because they wouldn't have hands." He rolled his eyes at the dork in front of him.

"Gwah!," He flinched back in realisation "Akaashi you're right! Why didn't I think of that" Bokuto spoke looking dejected at the end of his line.

Akaashi felt a little guilty for not answering any of Bokuto's questions. Maybe he might answer one during school when they're not together or in close proximity to cheer him up.

He looked towards the clock that was changing in the kitchen and noticed the time before mentioning that they should start heading to school.

From Akaashi's school was only a fifteen minute walk so they left walking together. Bokuto talking his sims-like language on the way and Akaashi listening like it was normal.

Once they reached school they separated to visit their own classes.

Time skip to 2 period (still Akaashi's pov)

Feeling rather bored with his current lesson as he learned it all before.

He took out a black pen and rolled up his sleeve taking a glance to what question he should respond to.

It was stupid but he thought it makes sense for it to be Bokuto, 'isn't the kanji for Bokuto ,木兎' horned owl?' He finished and waited for his reply whilst smiling and looking down.

"AKAASHI!" He was awoken from his dazed mindset to see the teacher was calling upon him. "Yes sir" he answered melancholic. "Come up here an answer this question."

After sighing he stood up and feeling all of his classmates eyes on him as he walks up and picks up a piece of chalk and started working on the equation. "X = 3" he put the chalk down gently and walks back ignoring the little whispers and the clearly shocked look on the teacher's face.

The teacher coughed and straightened himself up clearly being, as the youth says, 'roasted'.

Without even seeing Bokuto's overly excited reply, Akaashi sat with a smug look on his face which was hardly recognisable and went back to looking at Bokuto's thoughts and feelings that were spread along his arms.
