Scarlett's POV:

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I still remember how I died....but I didn't know I would land here out of all places! I was in my new BMW, the one I got for my birthday, and listening to music.....'Despacito'.....it's catchy, when I got a notification on my phone. I decided to pick it up, but it was only the otome game my father had given 2 months ago. My mistake was looking down at it.

CRASH.

The last I heard was a lot of beeping...it kept buzzing through my head...and 2 months ago I woke up in this town of Aki. A Japanese name of course. I didn't want to think of it as that bad...but I had changed completely... my red hair replaced by a blonde and my eyes a light blue. I miss my parents...Jack, Andrew and Lily...

I don't want to think much of it now... I pushed open the curtains to reveal a cosy little town. I lived near the marketplace so there were a few people down there...

"Good morning Scarlett!"

"How are you Scarlett?"

"Onee-chan!"

The last voice was of a little girl with dark brown hair and sparkling hazel eyes, Charlotte. I ran downstairs and got changed, before bursting out the door and wrapping my arms around her small body to embrace her.

"Onee-chan! My father said I could be a protector like you!"

" Oh did he now? Well... when you grow a little older I will teach you everything I know! My little fighter!" She pulled away from me and jumped up and down excitedly.

"Yay! Mom! Onee-chan is going to teach me how to fight! I'm gonna be cool like her!"

I looked up at the woman standing behind Charlotte. She looked very much like here daughter, the same brown eyes and hair.

"Well...that's just wonderful, my little daughter is growing up so fast!" She then gazed at me, with what seemed like pride. "She admires you so much. I'm sure she will learn a lot from you...Come now Charlotte! We need to get the eggs back to your Father so he can have his breakfast!"

"Yes mother! Bye Onee-chan!" She hugged me again before taking her mother's hand and walking out of the marketplace.

Her mother reminded me of my own mother...that same look of pride in her eyes, but sometimes you don't want to mess with her.

I closed my door and walked down to the 'Milkshake Miracle' shop. They sell the most amazing milkshakes! I am so hungry just thinking about it....!

"Mission from the mayor!"

I was startled at the sudden arrival of the Mayor's parrot. Never could get used to it.

"Mission accepted!"

The parrot flew away leaving me with a scroll. I read what I could:

You will go to the haunted forest and try and rescue lost villagers. Remember to stop by afterwards for some tea!

Great! A mission to start the day! Like my father used to say: ' Any mission great or small, when tried, can be overcome.' Yep. Off to a haunted forest!

I was searching for nearly an hour, when I finally stumbled across a pair of hooded people.

"Hey! You can't stay here. It isn't safe. I will take you back to my village. You will be healed...you are in no danger."

They hesitently followed, but wouldn't utter a word.

SCREECH!

Great. You can always expect an undead bird to appear out of nowhere. It towered over me, but I wasn't afraid.

"Filimino Carta Jagar Nawato!" I screamed the words at the top of my lungs, and felt a sudden surge of power flow through me. Water shock. Only for warriors with a minimum of level of 35. I was level 38, and had practised it for so long, I wasn't scared of the sudden power I gained, and the little spark you felt at the end of your finger.

I pointed at the bird, and before long, it had turned into dust.

"Let's keep moving. Don't want to bump into another one."

We head back into town and straight to the Mayor's house. It seems that she had been expecting us, because she was walking impatiently up and down the front of her house.

"Why Scarlett! You found them! I knew you would!"

"Found who- the what now?"

I turned around to look at the hooded figures behind me.

"Take of the cloak..."
