Arihiro's POV:
Ok. I was expecting the house to be messy or really weird, but it was a decent house. It had yellow dandelions on the wallpaper and in the living room were two brown sofas. I sat down on one of them and beckoned Hakaru to sit with me. I have to admit that even after all this time he isn't at all social, so I had to do the talking for him.Scarlett went to the kitchen and came back with a China set. A teapot and two teacups. "Would you like some tea?"
I nodded and so did Hakaru. We hadn't had anything for some time. Hakaru hesitated a bit when he took his teacup in his hands, so I drank it first. It was so good. The warmth traveled through my body and it left a sweet taste in my mouth.
"Can I have some more please?" She looked startled at the comment but recovered from the shock."Of course!" She then poured my some more and Hakaru started drinking his own. A small smile planted on his face. He nodded at me and I asked some more for him. We both enjoyed the tea, and sipped away gratefully. Suddenly, Scarlett stood up and walked towards the door.
"I'm going to the corridor. I need some fresh air. Please help yourself to more tea."
Hakaru looked worried and so was I. "I need the toilet. I will be back soon." Hakaru nodded at me and I walked towards the corridor.
" I'm meant to be the evil one. I can't get attached. To keep them safe from me I need to stay away." She breathe in deeply and turned around. She was shocked to find me there. "Arihiro, what did you need?"
"I needed the toilet... I don't know where it is though."
"It's upstairs, on your right."
"Thanks." I walked upstairs thinking about she had said. What did she mean? Why did she need to protect us from herself? I need to find out.
